Everyone Welcome Anytime of the Month!
What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

:hello: everyone! I have been awol but now feel more able to join back in and I most certainly need the support as whilst I haven't gone completely off the rails - I'm most definitely veering off course.

I haven't caught up with the thread at all but I hope everyone is in a good place.

I did keep my AF tally going - it wasn't stellar and very dodgy come December.

Here goes: September 20 days AF; Oct. 16 days AF; Nov 18 days AF and Dec 15 days AF.

Shaggy I would like to be put down for 25 days for January. thank you!!
  • Evening all, happy Friday! Day 3 for me today, just home from work, and tea and just sat with a cuppa tea, bliss! Don’t even fancy a drink tonight.

Barney1979 I’m doing my first park run tomorrow, any advice for a newbie?

Don't Forget Your Barcode is the key, depending on your pace, loiter near the back and then as the runners thin out you can move through the slower runners, crucially have fun! Usually at 8:45am there is a first timers briefing, where the course and basics will be relayed :)
  • Thanks Barney, I’ve got my bar code printed out ready and I shall definitely be near the back, I’m not the fastest runner more of a plodder! We’re planning on getting there a bit earlier so should be in time to find out what’s going on, I’m nervously excited!

Let me know how it goes, I've got my 126th and 81st different parkrun location tomorrow, it's addictive!

AFD 2/16 is coming to a close.
    Mortgage free by 33 - (21/07/22 - 32 years and a bit...)

Most DIY problems can be solved by a combination of spanner, pliers, screwdriver, Allan key and a blade. (Hold it, twist it, cut it!) Very occasionally industrial language, a hammer and an adhesive may need to be added to the mix. (Curse it, hit it, patch it!)
