maman I agree it would be good to have a civilised polite forum in which to discuss the election but I'm not sure such a forum exists . I dipped my toe in the water in an online discussion (not a MSE thread) and very quickly retreated, it was venomous :eek:.

Season of Mist, I think we all agree that wouldn't be right! Saying we wish there was a civilised place to discuss it is as far as it's going to go, I'm sure. This thread is especially not the right place, it's such a great place, and such a great group of people, no one wants that spoiled.

No not all !
I’m probably the most non political person I know , but as women died for the vote I feel I have to put a tick on someone, and at the moment that’s the way I’m leaning ,
Non of my family , other than me were born here , so I’m not really in a place to get all involved in brexit, but we have the best local councillor , who does so much for our area , and is always around , not just at election time , so that’s my main reason !
I. Would n ever disrespect anyone’s views or how they vote , my eldest is voting labour !
