5/30 please, Shaggy.
I said we all know what we should be doing. I didn't say it was easy!!:D And correction I said limit treats not cut them out!:rotfl:
I'm out tonight for a planned meal and drinks with friends. Back soon.:)0 -

I'm back!!! Just 1/TF, please Shaggy. All pretty restrained whilst away though. Am going to try to be AF free until I go away again at the end of the month.
Off to catch up on the thread! Have a lovely evening everyone.0 -
Pollyanna, you will probably have to wait for an appointment to the doctor so I'd make one today - the ache in your back sounds as though it needs medical attention. x
Thanks cathybird. I didn't make one, still undecided. Just a nagging ache which has been there a while now. I will ring tomorrow, I think the surgery sometimes has weekend appointment, so will hope for that. Tomorrow is my last week day off until the end of September, so I suppose I should have done something before now.
But just putting it down to general cold and tiredness at the moment. Heading off to bed.
Counting 4/4 for the SNC and 4/TF for September.Pink Sproglettes born 2008 and 2010

Well thanks Marahouti! I guess the thread has been part of life for ages. And whilst I'd prefer to hit bigger numbers than I do, I'm sure this thread and all you lovely people is the reason I manage as many as I do.
Very glad to be in a happier place with booze than a decade ago.
2/16 for me please Shaggy!0 -
Another day hurray but out for a meal with friends tonight. However pleased with 4 days so far this month. I am away towards the end of the month so I do need to reach target or beyond (phrase always makes me think of Toy Story) early.
So 4/15 AFDs please. Can I also try for 4 SNC for next week please starting on Sunday - hoping to exceed that but depends on social activities.0 -
6/25 AFDs today0

Morning all, 6/21 for me today please.0

I went back to the call and he'd gone....I then googled it and it was a scam!!!!
Be careful out there!
There's a lot of it about at the moment. No matter how convincing it sounds if we thought about it for a nano-second, do any of us think the police have the time to ring everyone who's had their bank card cloned? So glad you were interrupted before the scum could do you any damage.pollyanna24 wrote: »Generally not feeling very well and have nagging ache at the base of my back for a while. In my head, it's my kidneys, but I've looked up where they are in the body and now I'm not so sure.
Thirsty like mad and I'm thinking it might be diabetes. Would the two be connected? Anything to do with drink even though I have cut down?
Not sure whether to wait till my cold is gone or go to the doctors now. I haven't been in ages and not even sure how to go about making an appointment.
Pollyanna, I'd call the NHS helpline in the first insance on 111. Feeling generally under the weather affects us all from time to time but if after a few days it should get better and if it doesn't it's better to check it out. You've got other two identifiable issues - your lower back pain and the thirst, and that might ring some alarm bells with someone who knows about these things.
As for appointments, you'd still ring your surgery initially as far as I know, but 111 would be my first call.I said we all know what we should be doing. I didn't say it was easy!!:D And correction I said limit treats not cut them out!:rotfl:
So, elsethread, I suggested someone find a biscuit tin, put all of her treats in it, tie it up with a long piece of string like a parcel and then put a mini-padlcok on it, the kind you get out of crackers that are utterly useless but we can't bring ourselves to throw away. 24 hours later I realised I had to do exactly that myself, and have now filled up my favourite tin etc etc, but unfortunately for me I couldn't get everything in. I'm going to have to do the same with a shoebox today. I've got plenty of string and padlocks and I have GOT TO STOP with the chocolate.
6/30 please, Shaggy.Better is good enough.0 -
5/20 and 5/5 SNC please Shaggy. Thank you. X0
