    Everyone Welcome.
What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

I had a drink yesterday. Just a single gin which was a bit of a waste but that was yesterday. Today I'm getting on board for September.:)

    1/10 AFDs please Shaggy.

Me too Maman except mine was a single glass of wine ;)

Off the mark today though so 1/12 for me please Shaggy

Thanks cathybird for the annual update - it is much appreciated :)

Hello, sorry to have been MIA. The longer I didn’t post the harder it seemed to. Term 6 was incredibly busy, then the holidays and before I know it September is here.

But I have been mindful of my drinking and use the Drink Less app. I’m averaging 15-18 AF days a month.

I feel time poor so sorry for lack of being here. I haven’t even properly read posts for months.

    Will try to keep up.

    17 days for September please

    Thank you.

3/20 monthly challenge and 3/5 SNC please Shaggy.
It's amazing and wonderful that this thread has been going so long and helped so many people. Well done Shaggy, Maman and Pricey for your longevity as members :T. I wonder what the OP is doing now.

Thanks for the linkie Maman, and more importantly the antipaywall gist of it. Good. Another journalist who's willing to talk honestly about booze without being all tabloidy and sensationalist.

I, for one, miss you Cuppa, but there are times when life takes over and I find that on other threads that I contribute to, as well. If you can't keep up don't worry about it, we can just carry on talking amongst ourselves while you're busy, but do please let us know you're okay when you get a moment. You are One Of Us and we worry about you when you go missing. Good to hear you're doing so well with the AFness; keep going with the course and let us know when it's all finally over. Good luck with the final phase of it.

    4/30 please, Shaggy.
    Better is good enough.

Morning all, 4/21 for me this morning please :)

I for one am very grateful for this thread, and am sure it probably quite literally saved my life - I could not have kept going the way I was going. Yay for this thread and may it continue for years to come! I wonder what the original poster is doing now too? ... Keeping it AFD, I hope, as Honey Bear's signature has it :)
