    It sounds as though you are really together, coping with the strain of Monday, Arsenal Barnie and Arkers. I'm in awe of both of you. (And I'm very glad that medicine has moved on a bit from the 1980s!)

    Good afternoon everyone,

    Thanks for the kind words HB     to be honest I'm just glad to be getting the !!!!!! removed, I don't know what I'd do if I had to wait much longer. I'd probably do exactly what Aresenal is doing and pay the money for treatment. I think the only reason I haven't had to wait very long is because of the Gov targets re Cancer treatment. I guess it's one of the benchmarks by which the NHS trusts are judged. The sad thing is that I'm meeting these unbelievable hardworking health workers and I am more than happy with the treatment so far (obviously there is a way to go). I think once you are in the system it's good enough it is the testing and diagnosis which is pittiful. For example I am having to wait for another appointment and the wait is 4 months just to step through the door. Now I know there is finite resources, but I just can't help thinking that things are creaking, and we have lost our way a bit. Not sure what the answer is, probably for another day, except to say that tax cuts are not going to help matters.
