    3/18 and 2SNC.
Sorry to read about not sleeping Arsenalbarnie but do try to avoid your remedy - don't think women's prisons are conducive to sleeping either although I too have been tempted in the past. Even more irritating is when I mentioned the snoring in the morning he said 'but I wasn't asleep'. Speechless.

Ha ha wouldn’t want to be in prison, even with the op I’ve got coming up. What’s so irritating is he always wants to go away, when I would rather spend the money on a new kitchen, or save it. Our house is getting a bit shabby. Being landlords we have to keep our rentals up to scratch, so ours is always last in line. I am happy to go to our little caravan. He is then mainly very stressed while we are away. He can’t cope with being relaxed as his stress surges over him. Then his back is on a knife edge too (has 4 knackered discs). It is all a bit miserable for him. All of his aches and pains might subside if he had a good spell off the booze. I told him yesterday if he doesn’t address the problem he will end up having a heart attack one of these days. I suggested he download an hypnosis app I have but he just poo poos it. I find it so helpful. Have decided no more plane journeys for me for a while, bad for the environment anyway. Have a short commitment with friends in October. Am not going and having to put up with him being like it, until he sorts himself out or gets something to chill him out. Sorry rant over.
Total weight lost 6.5/73lbs starting yet again. Afds August 10/15. /8 Sept.

    I turn 40 this month.

I remember when I turned 40 it seemed so old. Now it seems so young!

    Have a great birthday!
What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

We're a little out of the nom as we never cover our bedroom windows (we are not over looked, so neighbours have nothing to fear!) - our previous rental didn't come with curtains or blinds, and we were skint when we first moved in and just got used to life without them. Maybe I should look into getting some better ones and see if that has any effect.

Black out curtains, black out linings or black out blinds are the best.

However, the shape of one of our bedroom windows means that we can only use linings so light comes in as we have a pole. The shape of our windows also means we can't have a blind.

So, me and OH both have silk eye masks - you can pick them up quite cheap on amazon. They do work.
