Well I've casted on, and did a few rows. Looking good :D while I"ve been running back and forwards being re-acquainted to my loo again. I feel great btw, I just hope the vomiting bit doesn't start up again. These are the times an ensuite would be nice.
Stairs are a pain.
Oooh it does sound chilly over there. Brrrrrrrr.
Scuzz When do you move in? Great news.
MrsMix Will hot water bottles ease the pain? (((hugs)))
Taplady Have a great time.
Haribo I see you're hard at work. Posting here. Think I'll tell your boss.
CM Maybe you & SIL can talk near your washing. All that hot air should do the trick.
ByeeeeeeeeDon't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia.0 -
Just surfaced! Arrived home 5 am. Been awake but tooooo cold to surface 'til we got out of bed and put the ch on and then waited for it to warm up before surfacing. Don't like this cold weather. Tell me why did I come back? I've even put tights on under jeans!
Thankfully a friend/neighbour popped in yesterday tea and switched the heating on so the house was aired for our arrival.
Not had time to read thread yet, got hairdressers at 1.40pm (or was it 2.20om) to hide my twinklies before anyone else sees them!

Hope to catch you later if I emerge for 6 weeks mail!

Hoping to be in there by mid-January. (But would love to complete before Christmas) Should be an easy, quick sale. They're moving back with parents and I'm ready to go with the mortgage, so fingers crossed. But let's face it, it can't be any slower than how the last one was going!!Comping, Clicking & Saving for Change0 -
Actually forgot about MSE...!!!
Well, I did manage to strip the bed all by myself for the first time in weeks, it took a good time, but I did it. Then had to wait for my wrist to stop swelling. Lovely.
Hospital have brought my appt forward as blood test showed 'levels were raised', I know - my knee, my feet, my wrist etc etc! glad i don't have to wait till mid December!
Can't find my copy of Cranford anywhere but I am looking forward to the dramatisation on Sunday. I love the story - the ladies of the village are very thrifty but proud, so they make "elegant economies" and claim that wealth is vulgar!
My sister's car was damaged by a hit and run driver last night. Bl***y coward drove off leaving her with an excess of £225 and an undriveable car. It could have been worse, they live just by a school. Witnesses say it was an older woman driving - she left a bit of her car behind, so the police are hopeful!
Old Man has made me some lunch - how kind he is!!!
Have a great OS day.I can cook and sew, make flowers grow.0 -

That was one of the floats at this years "caravan" of the Tour de France - we walked thru the tunnel to Woolwich to watch it go by....woosh in about 20 secs!!:rotfl: I only go there if I take the kids to the leisure centre as they have a wave machine! and a river cruise on the Woolwich Ferry:D :rotfl:

DH is about to take me to Lidl so just a quick "Hello".
Last night at 9 o clock all the lights went off in our part of the small town we live in.
Although we have torches and candles etc we stil needed to grope our way to where one of the torches was kept. The blackout lasted about an hour and I had forgotten how pitch dark it could get - quite spooky.
Might get another couple of torches from lidl and DH was fascinated by the wind up torch/radio I got from Tesco - he had a play with it this morning to get radio stations he wanted.
Might make home made hamburger for tea with mashed tatties and veg in cheese sauce.
Hugs to all and see you later."This site is addictive!"
