quick update from me, I spent a shocking total of £27 on around 40 books which were a mix of new and used stock. So far Ive sold 1 (boo) which made me around £9 profit, but they all listed at great prices so should make around £200 from the lot if they all sell so very pleased.

Sales in general are pants, random 'buy a book from mishka' days are still occuring and then nowt for the rest of the week ;) ,

How do you send an email via Amazon? I can't see anything on there even in my account.

Yesterday (in one of those odd conversations that sometimes happen) I discovered that the seller who constantly undercuts me (and continually gets away with multiple listings) owns a huge wholesale book warehouse. She has over 21,000 books listed.
Sales have been dire for some weeks - I've never done well on GM - I'm considering freeing up space by just giving up selling.

Hi Wigglebeena, not sure who you are trying to email? If its a buyer then go to your seller account and click on orders and you should be able to click on 'contact buyer' from there and email them via Amazon.

If its Amazon themselves then you can click on help in the top right hand corner in the 'my account' first page and theres a button to contact them.

If neither of those is what you meant and its still not sorted maybe post again with more details..... Teapot

    Hi everyone,

I have acquired a variety of university type textbooks and although they are all listed perfectly happily on Amazon I was wondering if anyone had experience of using Sellstudentbooks.com?

I was wondering if it would be worth my while listing them on there as well?

    Any thoughts welcome

Something that is really good when listing a lot of items is a barcode scanner. I found it so easy just scanning in the barcode and it finds it for you - saves all that typing if you have loads! It finds almost anything which i think is really clever! They don't have to cost loads either, a cheap on on ebay will cost you under £20, or if you want a slightly better model, you can get them around £50 ish (or more!)
If anyone wants any advice/help on scanners, ask me as i have some knowledge about them.

Hi, I just received this back from amazon when i asked about postingPlease understand that we do not have a fixed method of dispatch forsellers. Marketplace sellers are required to dispatch items by firstClass. This is because buyers pay first class postage and also you arerequired to dispatch the item within two working days of receiving theorder confirmation. Does everyone send first class as from reading earlier advice and threads it sounded like you could post 2nd class if posted the same day.
