Don't think I'm going to make that final 0.8lb. 6 tomorrow because I've been off piste for the last few days. Never mind, near enough.

The next few days there will be lots of feasting and celebrations. I'm not going to worry. I shall eat, drink and be merry. I will treat it as a holiday and give myself a few days off.

A mini break will do me good.

Right heres the plan to try and help me mitigate some of the damage for the next weeks frivolities.....:rotfl:

So whilst partying I won't bother counting but for everything else, ie days not going out or meals eaten at home then I will aim for zero hero's or very low point meals.

    Today

    B. Cheese and tomato omelette. 1.5pts
    L. mushroom stroganoff with brocolli rice 1pt (creme fraiche for sauce)
    D. Italian style chicken, med style vegetaable medley, green beans 0pts.

Going out tonight but no alchol, just low cal tonic.

Tomorrow. Posh afternoon tea so a low point brunch.
    Sunday home so very lowpoints.
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and the following Sunday are all party days so hoping to make Thursday, Friday, Saturday very low point days....maybe even some intermittent fasting.

Hopefully this might help me from piling the lbs back on.

Well I didn't make it to my birthday goal. Just 0.8lbs short of the promised land.

    That'll do me.:D.

    Hi

Thinking of rejoining WW today - noticed there is a blass very close to my house at a convenient time. What does everyone do in terms of digital and/or workshops/classes?

Am thinking of both to get the discipline of a weekly weigh in but less keen to commit for 9 months to get the best joining offer. Its going to take me more than 9 months though!!!

    Hi

At the moment Im doing the class, but I don't think Ill stay there, the woman who runs the class is too fond of talking about herself and isn't giving support and advice

First class and I got a free week on the digital, which I looked around at, but didn't really use it

However, they have you by the short and curlies now. They no longer give out the points calculators, you either have to buy one, or pay for the online

So myself personally am going to try the class one more time and if I still feel the same Im going digital and use the scales in the GP's to track my weight, it might possibly work out cheaper, it will certainly give me back 2 hours of my day ( I have a 30 min drive to a class )

Happy Birthday LL, hope you are being spoiled xx

So this week Ive done my best to eat more, breakfast lunch and dinner for two days and today Ive just eaten a big roll with 2 bacon medallions, two chicken sausages and an egg. I seem to be eating lots of eggs of late :rotfl: Don't know if you all know but the Hucks chicken Italia sausages come in @ 2for1 point. Not something id have tried before and I don't think Id eat them as part of a main meal, but in a bap they were ok. Mr S didn't realise they were chicken, but then he splashed the brown sauce

One thing Ive noticed though about eating more, I seem to be hungry more

Oh and the work place is not a good place to be when trying to lose weight. Yesterday two gateaux and enough chocolates brought in to open a confectioners. Its hard saying no all the time, esp when the lass you are working beside managed to get in a mars, a crunchie, a bounty, 2 sausage rolls, 2 chicken goujons and a slice of each cake  And whilst I always maintain Im not a big eater, it made me realise that there have been days where I do take a bar or a packet of crisps, used them to fill me up and then picked for the rest of the day instead of eating a proper meal

    I have a new obsession with watermelon.:D

I find it very refreshing in this hot weather. I'm making a watermelon, red onion, cucumber, rocket, cherry tomato and vegan cheese salad for lunch again
    Omg this sounds lush :p

Wow. Candy. Go You. That's amazing. Re the stress.....hope you feel better soon.

Well I had a fabulous afternoon, posh afternoon tea, with delicious smoked salmon sandwiches, prosseco, some sort of lemon pannacotta and of course cake.

Only problem is, as delicious as it was.......it was all carbs so you guessed it, two hours later I was starving.

So I treated myself to a full fat macaroni cheese.

So that's probably it for the next six months, my once in a blue moon
    Treat of Maccy cheese. :rotfl:

I shudder to think how many points I've consumed today .......

    Who cares.;)

This week has been awful with the carbs. I weighed this morning rather than tomorrow and I have lost a lb, no idea how! May be a climb back up next week.

Have meal planned the next two days, have fruit ready for my yoghurt in the morning and am very busy with work.

Fingers crossed. I am finally under 13st and want to keep it that way. Nothing planned until next Friday (19th) for sons bd.

Hi everyone......good to see you all.

    Welcome Trouble.:D.

I joined a local class as well as online but I think I'm ready to go it alone now. I bought a couple of their books so I can look up the points myself. And anyway, if it's support I need, well we have each other on here to keep us on the straight and narrow. :rotfl: I feel I am ready to cancel my subscription and save myself some money.

It turns out I shall be eating out nearly every day this week so I have decided to more or less have a week off. Pretend I'm on holiday, a sort of staycation. No heavy gardening or diy, just give myself over to having a rest and a bit of hedonistic pleasure. :rotfl:

I won't go mad and be stupid but I am not going to fret about everything I eat. I have lost 2.1/2 stones now and am very happy. I would still like to lose a bit more and I'm sure I will, but a little break won't do any harm. If I do put a couple of Lbs back on this week I shall tackle it quickly and make sure I continue on my weight loss journey.

I will set myself a target of a further stone by Christmas. If I manage that then I will have lost a total of 3.1/2 stones in a year. Hopefully that will be enough to stabilise my blood sugars. I think any more and I would be too thin. I don't want to look scrawny or haggard. :rotfl:

So today I'm off out for a second birthday treat......:D. Lunch with son no 2 and his girlfriend.
