Well done everyone on your weight losses, every ounce counts :rotfl:
Well I go for a weigh in today  and Im not feeling too confident tbh, Ive been really good food wise, but on our adventures Sunday which didn't go to plan, I had more alcohol than food
Thankfully afternoon Tea on Saturday didn't happen and I had a salmon salad for tea and scrambled egg for breakfast. Sunday was a early start and it was a plain sausage bap at the airport at 7am. We did go for a curry, I had a chickpea stew type starter and chicken saag main with just two spoons of rice and a quarter of a naan. But as I say I had a pint of cobra with that and I had already had two pints of cider during the day
Monday and Tuesday Ive tried to pull it back, two toast, two potato waffles and two poached eggs was my total Monday and yesterday it was a tuna sandwich and a salmon salad, and a 4.5 mile walk
Im walking 5/7 days a week, between 3 and 5 miles a time depending on weather and time restraints. Definitely not strolling, working up a puff so I hope thats helping
So I shall have to wait and see how Ive done later and then really sit down and meal plan better. Doesn't help that Mr S struggles to keep weight on and Mum is getting very picky about food, trying to work on something that suits us all without too much flaffing. Tonight Im doing a stir-fry and tomorrow Im thinking of pulled pork and jacket spuds with piles of salad and pickles.
Anyway, send me skinny vibes please. I need to show a loss else I know Ill go sod it and eat a loaf of bread :rotfl:0 -
I had a bowl of HM lentil and veggie soup for breakfast along with a couple of delicious peaches. Bit of an unusual breakfast I know!
Lunch will be baked beans with grilled mushrooms, tomatoes and a toasted bread roll. I made some spicy roasted chickpeas yesterday to have as well.
Dinner will be a tofu stir fry.
I notice that I am not that hungry at dinner time (usually around 7-8) but fancy a snack in the later evening (around 10 at night) so I'm keeping my snacks until then.
Anyway, send me skinny vibes please. I need to show a loss else I know Ill go sod it and eat a loaf of bread :rotfl:
Good luck!:T
I really like pints of cider too.:o:D0 -
Cider is my go to tipple too.
Bad couple of days with carb loading. Boo. Back on track today, huge bowl of fruit and yoghurt for breakfast, lunch all pointed and pasta bake for tea. Should come in on target. Need to sit down and meal plan a bit.Debt free Feb 2021 🎉0 -
I meant to say I've started a new way of keeping track. I have an A4 lined notebook and I draw a line down the middle of the page. One column is zero point food and the other column is pointed food.
I find it a lot easier looking at it like that.:)
It also made me realise I use up my points on bread or crisps the most.:rotfl:2025 GOALS

Im back
Not good at all, stayed the same
Apparently Im not eating enough and body is hoarding
I do find it difficult to eat tbh, Im much more of a grab a sandwich when hungry person. So far today Ive had zilch, nada, other then a black coffee and this is what happens to me daily when Im not working. Usually now Id reach for the bread and butter, to keep me going till dinner but I've been skipping that completely and waiting on till dinner. Im better on a work day as I take something for both breakfast and lunch because my day is so much more structured ,but thats just 3 days a week, the other 4 days are like today, very little food
So I hit the shops and Ive got some crisp bread thingys and some slims and also some crab and a pack of those lite brunch/snack bar things so I have something to reach for. I don't do fruit and Im going to turn into a salad if I eat more of that. And as a real special treat a 6 pack of ringos - I don't like quavers lol
Ill give this week a try of eating more and see how I go0 -
Suki, don't be too disappointed. Just keep at it.
Like you, My weight loss had plateaued, turned out I wasn't eating enough either. . In all honesty I now eat double the amount I was eating before. My weight loss isn't dramatic, it's slow, steady and consistent. Usually around 1lb a week.
Wednesday.....I bought myself a little notebook too. I record everything I eat. I know it sounds a bit OCD but it really helps me to monitor what I'm using my points on and it ensures that I have a varied diet with lots of different foodstuffs.
Like you say, it helps show where you are "wasting" points but my view is if it's something I really love such as cream in my coffee or a square of chocolate, then it's not "wasted".
I probably "waste" 3 points a day on cream in my coffee but I simply don't enjoy it with milk so I make sure I have enough points to cover me. I am certainly not going to go without my favourites or eat food I don't like just to lose weight. Life's too short. :rotfl:
I am doing well with my rollovers so far and havent touched my weeklies yet. Saving them for the weekend because it's my birthday on Saturday and my family are making the most of it. One has booked afternoon tea at a posh hotel on Saturday and the other one has booked lunch for Monday. No idea where for that one but knowing him it will be somewhere nice and luxurious.
In fact over the next couple of weeks there will be quite a few parties, meals out etc. Not to worry - if I regain a few 1lbs it won't be the end of the world. I now know how to get back on track quickly to minimise the damage.
I think I will be able to sustain my weight loss in the longer term. My head is fully engaged now with the process and I have realised that it had to be a new way of living and eating, not just a quick fix.
I want to keep my weight stable for the rest of my life, to knock my diabetes on the head and to remain as fit and as healthy as I can be ......well Into a ripe old age. :rotfl:0 -

Aw, that is annoying. Yes, sounds like you need to eat much more.lessonlearned wrote: »

I know an American woman online doing WW who says she does the same with real coffee with cream each morning as it makes her able to face going to work!:D
I think it has made me notice what foods I genuinely crave and not just eat food out of boredom or habit. It is definitely carbs in my case. As long as I am getting enough healthy protein and fruit and veg I will indulge in crisps.:cool:2025 GOALS

Hi
Thinking of rejoining WW today - noticed there is a blass very close to my house at a convenient time. What does everyone do in terms of digital and/or workshops/classes?
Am thinking of both to get the discipline of a weekly weigh in but less keen to commit for 9 months to get the best joining offer. Its going to take me more than 9 months though!!!0 -

I have a new obsession with watermelon.:D
I find it very refreshing in this hot weather. I'm making a watermelon, red onion, cucumber, rocket, cherry tomato and vegan cheese salad for lunch again today.:)FiscalPickle wrote: »I had a tofu stir fry as well, with 3 points-worth of roasted salted nuts and it was delicious! :j
