Well I have just had a serious workout. Painting the back bedroom. Used a roller and got some speed up. Worked up a bit of a sweat, was so hot I ended up taking my top off and decorating in just my bra and a pair of shorts, actually just a pair of tatty old cropped off jeans.

Not exactly haute couture......:rotfl: but good enough for getting spattered in paint. I'm a very messy painter. Lol.

Finished painting for today. Tried sitting in the garden with a cuppa but it's like a furnace out there.

Glad the funeral went ok. to the oil light. Hope it's just low in oil and nothing serious. I had to have a new thermostat on my car the other week. £108 so not too bad.

I'm supposed to be going to a casino tonight. So need to rest now. The house is a tip, but it can't be helped when decorating. Just a quick tidy up today and then I'll take it easy so I can enjoy tonight's frivolities. :D

    This weather is brutal!

I made a lentil curry last night but that is the last thing I feel like eating in this heat.

I just had a low calorie ice lolly when I got in from the shop.:D

LL, yes, I threw a litre of (crazy expensive) oil in and it went out. Annoyingly the dip looked fine, so the sensor must be very sensitive. My old zafira burnt through a lot of oil, so I am used to topping it up, was gutted it was on the motorway as I have 5l of cheaper oil at home!

At least it wasn’t something serious.

Yes the heat has been brutal. I have decided not to go to the casino. It will be sticky hot and unpleasant. I’ll just dine solo and al fresco. I’m just Enjoying the garden now it’s a bit cooler.

I had a prawn salad for lunch. And I dug out a portion of tagine from the freezer so at least I’m not having to cook. Lots of zero fluids and plenty of fruit for snacks so doing well with points today.

I woke up feeling very motivated today. :j

It's almost July and I have a few outings planned for next month. Two concerts and I think I will go to a birthday gathering at the end of the month too.

Some of the people at the birthday thing I haven't seen in 15 years () so I would like to be close to 11 stone by that point.

I am having a green smoothie in a minute and then will have a wholemeal sandwich with vegan cream cheese.

I think I will have a veggie burger (without a bun) with new potatoes and salad later, not sure what else.

Thank God it isn't as hot today!:A

Yes, its much more pleasant today. Nice little breeze.

This morning I applied the second coat to the back bedroom, just the skirtings and door frames left now. They just need freshening up. I know I have done it in the wrong order but I thought I wouldn't bother with the woodwork but of course the fresh walls make them look grubby now. Duh.

I've done it Dulux Timeless White, just keeping it very simple becaus it's a small room, with funny ceiling angles. It looks a bit warmer than the original brilliant white which I think can look a bit stark and cold on a winters day.

That room is going to be my dressing room/occasional guest room so I think a sofa or chair bed. The wardrobe fronts are turquoise, so by the time I've added artwork, curtains, cushions, a throw etc I think it should look warm and cosy.

I've just blitzed my bedroom, the kitchen is still a tip, but I think a well earned coffee break and a few pancakes with strawberries are in order first. :rotfl:

I struggled with food yesterday, I can never eat probably when it's very hot. I end up grazing and eating too many snacks. So I went up to -10pts yesterday. Never mind. It's only one day. Im back on it now.

Low fat sausage with cauliflower mash for dinner. Need to claw back some points.

Wednesday.......keep on it. Knock 'em dead.

All this decorating and extreme housework is as good as a trip to the gym. Lol.

    Room sounds lovely LL.

Well weigh day and I lost 1/2Ib :eek:impressed seeing as we were away from home for two days and we did a buffet tea last night and I decided I would eat freely. Ended up with indigestion last night and woke ravenous this morning, a real reminder of why I am dieting :rotfl: annoyingly I am 13st exactly so desperate to get under that stone bracket, so feeling very determined.

Also I went to look at my sisters new house yesterday (she moved Friday) and ha e a bit of green eye about it all, we have always been a little competitive, so if she has the huge new house I WILL be thin :rotfl:

:rotfl: to the sisterly competition. Well done on the weight loss. It might only be 1/2lb but it's going in the right direction.

Interesting about the indigestion and then waking up feeling ravenous. I have learned that this is what happens to me if I eat too many carbs.

After seeing that photo of me in the top which I didn't like, I shall wash it and donate. I might have a quick sweep through my wardrobe and see what else can go. I wore some trousers yesterday and took a selfie. They looked ridiculous, far too big so they can go too.

I think it's time for another wardrobe clear out. :rotfl:

Another 1lb down this morning. Wahoo.

I need to lose 1.3 lb by Saturday to meet my birthday target. Can I do it. ;)

I'm down to 11 and a half stone now. That means I have lost 4 and a half stone in two years.:j

I am about to go out and buy more fresh fruit and veg. I've had lemon water and a green smoothie so far.

I'm really going to up my fruit and veg intake and reduce the carbs. I like toast far too much so I am only going to have two slices a day! I could eat my way through a whole loaf if I let myself.:o:p

I think I will have veggie sausages with the few new potatoes and a huge salad again. If they have fresh coriander in the Turkish supermarket I might make some salsa too.

I made the new potatoes yesterday using a recipe I saw using mustard, spray oil and salt and pepper. It was lovely.

Also I went to look at my sisters new house yesterday (she moved Friday) and ha e a bit of green eye about it all, we have always been a little competitive, so if she has the huge new house I WILL be thin :rotfl:

    :rotfl:Whatever keeps you motivated.

    Good morning Everyone

Well done Wednesday. That's a great loss and I think it should be sustainable too.

Just 0.8lbs to go......wahoo. Feeling positive and motivated.

Had a trying on session yesterday, sized 14s starting to fit nicely, down from 18 pushing 20 so well pleased.

Hope you are all doing well.
