the text regarding the charges is difficult to fully read on the image supplied in my emails. Although it does definitely state 'PCN £100' at the end.
So DJ Grey at Durham let them have double recovery which 3 case law/statute laws and the CPRs about proportionality don't let them add to the £100, and it wasn't even on the sign...not that it matters if it was, it's still not recoverable.

Are you up for an appeal on that basis or do you want this behind you? Have you paid yet and have you had his short judgment through yet?

An appeal would mean paying for a transcript and about £110 in court fees for an application for permission.

I can understand if not. DJ Grey was wrong about the added £60 at the very least.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

  • No I just want it behind me now. He told me that I had to say if i was to appeal on the day before leaving court.. So it'd be too late now anyway no?

DJ Grey at Durham does not know the law. Dread to think how he would handle a family matter
  • Its more frustrating seeing all your opinion on how it was handled lol. Wish I was in a position to appeal it
  • My girlfriend just used this car park tonight (1st time since I got a ticket) and it did the same thing! Haha. She moved to another car park lol
