With the court date notification, you should have been told by what date to file your witness statement and evidence. You need to submit (take by hand) to the court in a paginated bundle and contents page. Search the forum for posts by Coupon-mad and use ring binder or paginated bundle as your keyword(s) and you will find advice about how to present the WS and evidence in the best format. If you've already submitted WS, ignore all this, I haven't read back through the thread.0

Re-read post # 103 and watch the video, double check that you have all your paperwork and you know what you want to say. Dress smartly, be polite, turn up in plenty of time for security checks, don't engage with anybody from "the other side" and don't accept bits of paper from them. Don't accept sob stories that they haven't received your Defence/WS etc. Take proof of posting (or email delivery reports) for everything you should have/did sent/send to the claimant. If you are claiming costs and it involves loss of wages, take a salary slip with you.Pringle114 wrote: »At court tomorrow...

If you have time, you should take the Consumer Rights Act (CRA) schedule 2 and throw in para 6, 10 and 14 to show the added £60 is unfair and unrecoverable in law:

And print para 71 of the CRA which allows you to 'ambush' with the 'test of fairness'...regardless of not raising it before (know about para 71, in case the rep objects).
If you have time in the morning, read the threads by harnas and CEC16.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I LOST.
The judge deemed I was in breach of their contract by not displaying a ticket. He eas happy that the signs cllearly displayed the contravt terms and irregardless of me paying the money and not being issued one, they were compliant and I was not. He was also fairly dismissive of them refusing to supply PDT machine records etc.0 -
Such is the District Judge lottery ... some seem to make up the law as they go along.

Who was it please?
Unless you have leave to appeal (and intend to do so), don't forget the pay the judgment ASAP and get evidence of doing so ... you only get a CCJ if you fail to pay it in time.0
