Texpert Challenge

I have a friend who's a textpert but she's rediculously clever, is a member of mensa, is a neuroscientists and has an encyclopaedic brain. apparently there's a very long waiting list for applications.

Texpert is driving me NUTS! I got 84% overall, with a pass in all sections and still failed. Must have tried about 500 times tonight! What do they want, blood? lol

I'm a texpert! I must admit I absolutely love it! They are very supportive and it feels like being part of a wee family! (No, i'm not being paid to say this lol!) I think I am a generally knowledgable person but i'm not very clever, or a member of mensa! As i've said they help you as much as they can to provide good answers!

I'm not sure if they are recruiting at the moment but good luck to everyone!

Also, if anyone wants more info on Texperts i'll try to help if I can!

I got accepted months ago ... still waiting for a start date! x

I've just passed. I got 100% in all but one sections, where I got 75%.

The final killer question was a 'real' killer question

I don't know if I've done enough now answering that one as there was no answer for it IFSWIM

Hey, I passed on Saturday. Now I'm just waiting to hear whether my killer question was good enough. :cool:

Anyone know how long it takes to hear back from them?

You should hear within a few days ... however your start date is likely to be months away!

Is it shift work? Is it 30p a question? and it is true you can't work for AQA at the same time?

Yes, it's shifts. They have a rota which you access and choose which shifts you would like to do. I often log on at the last minute if i'm not doing much and accept a shift last minute. I don't know if they would allow me to comment on the pay, so I won't. And I haven't heard that you can't work for AQA at the same time, but I can't see why not..
