Sorry, I'm thinking of the last section, it is an age since I did it ...

    Well done!

You should receive an email over the next few days, inviting you to join the Texpert Facebook group, and asking if you would like to be notified when they have a start date.

I think I got accepted over a month ago (certainly feels that long!), and still haven't got a start date. Hopefully it will be before Christmas?! x
    Gone ... or have I?

I think you just have to pass each section, 75% at least in each I think.
  • It's the unanswerable question that always beats me, just can't work out what they are looking for.

    Any tips?

  • Hi there, just thought I'd offer a few words of comfort to those who haven't passed.(I haven't either).
My husband is a techie for 'textperts'.He assures me that it is harder to get into than Mensa.
The scoring takes into account timing as well as correctness.(If you get in you are expected to answer approx 12 Q/hour).
As for the unanswerable question, they look for originality and appropriateness amongst other things.
(They get a lot of Q of the 'my boy/girl friend dumped me,what shall I do' type. Also get people wanting answers to the meaning of life etc.)

Have your calculator at the ready.Open Wikipedia, and hope you don't get any Q about football stats!

You have more chance of getting accepted for AQA, plus it's a better service.

Well, after spending all that time doing the challenge, and finally passing it, I have just received an email telling me that my answer to the killer question was not what they were looking for. I am absolutely gutted. I just can't understand where I went wrong.

Can you keep trying for this the same as aqa?

I applied again straight away and made it the second time.
