    Good morning all,

Here's your up to date list. Sorry for not posting but I'm having problems at the moment. My C7 vertebra seems to be causing problems with my ulnar nerve which means that if I hold my arm in a certain position (most of them) three fingers of my hand go dead then start to really hurt. Unfortunately typing hurts so...... I'm hoping it can be fixed via physio or steroid injection rather than surgery so keep your fingers crossed please.

Take care all of you :)

    Evening All

Sorry to hear about your arm problems Cranky. Hope you can sort it quickly.

I've had my usual sort of Sunday - tennis this morning, Mum round for lunch, DS and family here for Sunday dinner and DGD staying to play for a bit. I also did a bit of tidying up in the garden till it started raining, whereupon I came in and read all afternoon. I have a bit of ironing to do shortly which I keep putting off doing.

Lunch: Grilled goats cheese with salad. Plum
Dinner: Pork cooked with cream and mushrooms, with peas and cauliflower cheese.
    Snack: Egg mayonnaise

    Morning everyone,

Sorry to hear you are suffering Cranky, hope it's better soon,
We were visiting family this weekend and celebrating a birthday. Not a great weekend foodwise however we did manage a 6 mile run Saturday, incorporating parkrun, so that offset a little.

Was hoping to have lost more this week but given what I've eaten a STS at weigh in tomorow and I'd be happy.
Hoping to go for a decent run at lunchtime today too. Aiming for Monday -Friday to be a good week as we're off to Jersey for a few days Saturday so doubt there will be a few extra treats then :)

Hope your arm feels better soon Cranky

    + 1lb this week for me :(

Totally undeserved in my opinion :rotfl:
I was still sts on Friday and made much better choices this weekend than the previous 2 ( no wine or mini icecream lollies). And I went swimming. I did have overnight oats for breakfast as I was out of Greek yoghurt. Think I need to start tracking my food intake again.

    Today’s menu

Last of the overnight oats before I go shopping, coffee with milk
    Ham salad. Tea with milk
Chicken skewers with roasted peppers and mushrooms and onions. Small piece dark choc. Soda water.
    Excercise will be walking.

    Have a good week all.

  • Morning all,

Oh dear CRANKY40, that sounds awful. Super hugs!! I hope you manage to get sorted soon.

I hope everyone lost the weight they wanted to this week!

I've managed to lose 3lbs this week, which I'm super happy with, still not down to my pre weekend away (I managed to put on 7lbs over the previous weekend:eek::eek:) weight of 17st 12 but It's a start. Hoping to lose two pounds this week to make it an even 18st then hope to god I can get into the 17s and keep going down. I've been playing around with the same 5 pounds for the last 7 months :eek::eek: Won't do a menu for this week as we are floating around so dinners are all over the place!!

    Afternoon Everyone,

Mondays are my super busy day so just a quick post. I had my early morning walk and swim followed by tennis this morning. Since then I've done a bit of shopping, been to the library and Post Office and then a few household jobs. I now need to go sort my hair out as I had to tie it up wet after my swim ready for tennis and am then out playing bridge with my friends. I'm not at work till five but have already sorted out a packed meal to take with me.

Lunch: Mushroom, pepper, onion and garlic omelette with petit pois. Greek yoghurt with lemon juice and sweetener.
    Dinner: Ham salad. Plum

    2lb loss,

I'm surprised and pleased.... If anyone can make a salad unhealthy its me - love mayonnaise, dips, salad dressings and crisps Not to mention the occasional glass of vino as we sit outside.

Reporting a STS for me this week. Despite a fair bit of exercise, food hasn't been the healthiest in the last week.

I won't be reporting in next week as we're away in jersey for a few days so will report back in 2 weeks time. I seem to have stagnated a bit so really need a god kicks tart when I;m back to normal routine.
