Thanks MrsLottie. Things have been a little blah recently so rather than going on a walk I’ve brought and then eaten carp and to be honest don’t feel great for eating it :o My body prefers fruit and veg to high fat stuff (gall bladder removed 7 years ago) but I’ve been on self-destruct mode and then complaining about the consequences :(. I am feeling positive that I’m two stone lighter than I was this time last year :) unfortunately I’m also about the same I was before I fell off the wagon over Christmas but it could be a lot worst.

Once I stopped sulking last night, luckily it’s not in my nature to sulk I sat and though about what I have or haven’t done right this month.

One of my recent mistakes has been just eating fruit for breakfast which is fine at the time but I’m then looking for food by 10.30am and reaching for the office biscuit tin, I stop eating porridge from about April so today I was back to eating FF Greek yoghurt with my fruit and was fine until lunchtime. I will start menu planning again which also helps with budgeting and writing down everything I eat and not omitting the stuff i’ve been snacking on. Some of the ‘naughties’ from my cupboard will probably end up at work as I can’t trust myself to only eat a small amount of chocolate or one biscuit as a treat and put the rest back out of sight. I will also try and find the time to go for a walk lunchtime and not work through my lunch break.

3 weeks to the end of this challenge and 7 weeks before I go away for a week so time I get my act together. A quick shop lunchtime has stocked me up with salad, fruit and veg I've fish and chicken in the freezer

Food so far to day has been

B- FF greek yoghurt, banana and mixed berries
L - HM chicken and vegetable soup
D - not to sure yet I'm plenty of veg in and a steak if I fancy it

STS last week, I've started to eat porridge for breakfast which I think is my downfall because I've not cut back anywhere else to compensate.

Phew, managed to lose a whole pound this week, been hard going as I'm still not back to my usual pain threshold, but hopefully it will settle in a few weeks!

I've knocked the natural yoghurt on the head over the last three breakfasts and put my snack banana into my breakfast instead of eating it mid-morning.

Been having a couple of slices of toast for late lunch when I get home from work and my tea has been meat/veg with rice or noodles although today i have burgers, which is fine as I've missed much today to balance it out.

    Happy Friday everyone!

    Hi everyone!

Sorry to hear that some of you are having a rubbish time, glad you're all still here though, I might not post much but I read everything and feel like I know you all (a bit, at least).

I've had a good week, been trying to get some exercise in every day and stick to my calorie budget (mostly) and I think it's helped. Can you put me down for -3lb this week. It's been lovely as I've been feeling really good about myself and had some lovely comments about my weight loss! Feels like the work is paying off, at last. I say at last because it's been 2 1/2 years and I'm down 4st 6lb but nobody noticed until the last few pounds. :o
Anyway, this challenge stands at 14/16 for me. 2lb by the end of the month, should be fine!

    Take care all of you.

    Evening All

I didn't get chance to post yesterday as DGD came for a sleepover. We went swimming and for a walk through the woods. She went straight to bed after and as my computer is right next to her bedroom I didn't get on it last night.

It's been a bit of a different day today as my friends and I all got together for lunch - each bringing a plate of something. The food was marvellous and I managed to stick to low carb. I ate loads so didn't need another meal today.

Lunch: Included salad, ham, chicken, mackerel pate with carrot, pepper and celery crudites, antipasti with cheese and prosciutto, mini sausages. Followed by fruit salad with icedcream, lemon cream (my contribution which was Greek yoghurt, lemon juice and cream all stirred together).

I had an hour and a half's yoga this morning and also did the school run, and walked up to deliver DGD's teddy bear this evening as she left him behind this morning.

    Morning all,
WEIGH IN I was 13st 7lbs this morning so that’s a 1lb loss for me please. Life has been a bit hectic recently but I’ve started to settle into a nice routine of dog walking with all the girls and getting up to approx 17000 steps a day, which is about 7 miles for me. Pleased with that. Although I don’t post much I do read ALL of the posts on here and I’m thoroughly impressed with most of you!
I sat down yesterday and worked out a fortnights worth of evening meals then went to Lidl to get it. Impressed that I saved over £15 on the equivalent shop I normally get at Tesco’s! Some things seem better quality too.
I’m driving back to West Sussex tomorrow for the day, starting with a dog training session, then visiting two sets of friends that I miss a lot since moving to Wiltshire. It’s bound to involve cake!!!
Anyway, good luck to everyone for the week ahead, onwards and downwards!
    Luv K9zz

So that's a whole - 1.5 for me this week!

My back is nearly all better, shame the rest of me isn't, but I'm going to get out and about later as it's nice weather up here today :)

Well, all my plans for the week are up in the air as I've torn a muscle in my calf! I had to crawl upstairs to get to my computer just now so probably won't be posting much. Off to bed to rest my leg now.

Wishing you a speedy recovery Rosewood

-4lbs for me please this week. Now why can’t that happen every week :rotfl:

This week I managed to track my food intake, mostly stick to my calorie allowance, avoided the crisps and icecream lollies and made some recipes from this years diet book ( I try a new diet every year :rotfl:). I have also switched back to ridiculously expensive raw sugar free chocolate from the nicer tasting ( full of sugar ) dark chocolate so portion size has decreased drastically. And I’ve upped my fat intake so more avocado, nuts and coconut milk curries. Plus I enjoyed 2 glasses of rose with Sunday roast and a few vodka sodas a couple of other nights.
There wasn’t a lot of excercise this week, due to bad weather as I mostly excercise outside including the swimming. So only 1 big long walk, and daily stretching.

    Today’s menu

Greek yoghurt blueberries chia. Coffee with milk
Boiled egg, avocado, peanut chilli sauce and butter lettuce. Cup of tea with milk
Afternoon snack - cocoa dusted pili nuts,
    cup of tea with milk
Roast chicken with roasted cauliflower red pepper and cherry toms. Soda water
Evening snack : tiny piece of worlds most expensive raw chocolate.
    Excercise: stretching and housework

    Have a good week everyone
