I am not doing very well at the moment but have not put any weight on so it is a STS for me. I seem to have plateaued and although am doing plenty of exercise we have been eating out lots and I am struggling to stay motivated to lose any more as I only have around 1 stone to lose now. The last stone is always the worst.

Will catch up on everyone elses news in a bit. Life is a little hectic at the moment.

    Evening All

I've just surfaced after being engrossed in a book for the last couple of hours. I hadn't realised it was so late!

I've not achieved my step total today but have done nearly 14,000. I had Pilates this morning and had to go into work this afternoon to deliver a talk to a group we had visiting.

Lunch: Cheese and spinach omelette. Plum
Dinner: Sole with peas and peppers. Greek yoghurt with lemon juice and sweetener.
Snack: 4 tiny crackers with peanut butter.

I've decided to give up chocolate until DD's wedding in September!

I had a nice walk a lunchtime yesterday and managed my step count for the day, although I did eat a bit more than planned.

Enthusiaticsaver - keep plugging away. A STS is still an achievement, especially if you are eating out a lot, which is always a challenge to weight loss. The exercise will still be doing you a great deal of good.

Rose Wood - 14,000 steps is great, even if you didn't quite reach your target. You must have been active for a fair amount to get that many steps in.

Hoping for another lunchtime run today and to try and keep to what I've planned to eat.

    Good morning all,

Just a quick post - I have ironing to do and then I'm in work. I'm 1.5 lbs lighter this week - I assume that's because my sore arm is the one that usually lifts food to my mouth :rotfl: I've had x-rays done and I have a doctors appointment on Monday for the results.

Take care all of you :)

    Evening All

Hope everyone has had a good day. I've played tennis (twice), had a swim and made brunch for DS and DH. I also went out for coffee after this afternoons tennis with a couple of friends. Tonight I've got some ironing to do.

Brunch: Bacon, egg, mushrooms and tomato.
Dinner: Lamb steak with wilted spinach and cauliflower cheese. Grapes
Snack: 2 teaspoons of peanut butter.

+2lb Please Cranky I'm not happy but have eaten badly all May and it's catching up I would kick myself up the bum but I'm an overweight middle aged lady so really not flexible enough

Hope you get good results at the doctors Cranky with no need for surgery.

I'm off to sulk for the rest of the evening and then I'll rethink for tomorrow :o

    Morning All

Weighing in with a -2lb Cranky I think my -2lb loss from last week is missing from the chart x

I'm real pleased though as I've finally hit 4 stone loss, it's taken a couple of years to get this far, as I've taken the scenic route way to many times, and I have a ways to go still, but I feel like I'm finally getting somewhere. :)

Cranky hope they are sorting out your nerve problem and that you are feeling better, well done on the loss x

Brambling sorry some weeks are just poo :( I'm sure you'll be back on track xx

Keep going Brambling ,often acknowledging what we’ve done helps us realise that we mustn’t give in even if sometimes it look like we are going round in circles .Ive had an up and down May too but not going to throw the towel in because I know where I’ll end up !
I’ve eventually realised that having a good eating day makes me feel happier in myself probably because I’ve beaten all those nasty temptations .So I’m aiming to make myself a happy with myself kinda person .
We’ve all done so well to be still here and still trying ! So from tomorrow I know you will be up and running again Brambling cos us old stalwarts don’t give up .
