    Evening Everyone

I've had DGD all day and earlier than normal so quite tired, although I still have work this evening.

I was also up before seven and had had a walk and a swim by nine. DGD had a friend to play for a couple of hours so I got some ironing done but then ended up helping them to make friendship bracelets. After lunch I finished reading a book we'd been having for bedtime stories. She enjoyed it so much we started the next in the series and I ended up reading for nearly two hours! I've got a bit of a sore throat now unsurprisingly.

Lunch: Prawn mayonnaise with freshly picked spinach leaves, cucumber and cherry tomatoes.
Dinner: 100% beef burger with fried eggs, sweet potato fries (only 5) and mushrooms.
    Snacks: 3 slices of ham.

It is looking like another very busy and late night at work so am crossing my fingers that DS will let me leave early. Last week I couldn't and ended up working till half eleven.

    - 1 lb loss for me please Cranky

I have kept more or less to my diet plan but went out with a friend Thursday and we shared a scone/cream and jam between us and had large glass of white wine each. I have been walking lots though and getting plenty of exercise but reining back on recording every mouthful. Trying to stick to just three meals and fruit for snacks (no more than three pieces a day). Trying to drink more water.

Well done to all who have lost this week and for those who haven't commiserations. Don't give up. I just keep telling myself that falling off the plan should not mean giving up. Just accept a bad day or bad week and move on. No guilt.

Got a feeling 1150 calories per day is still too much for me as my weight isn't shifting how I would like it to, either that or it's my pain meds causing an imbalance somewhere. I know I'm not active enough, which is due to my health and attempted to go dancing with the girls on Friday night; a couple of minutes dancing left me on a walking stick Saturday.

Lost 1lb again - guess at least it's consistent ;)

    Evening Everyone,

Well, I played in my first ever tennis tournament today. At least my partner and I didn't come bottom, just second to bottom! It was great fun though.

I also had work this morning with a walk there and back. I managed to still do lunch for my Mother and the evening meal (by using a slow cooker and being organized) for DS and family this evening. DGD stayed for an hour and a half's play so I've only just got to sit down as she wanted to dance for most of the time. If being active was the main driver of weight loss I should be skinny as anything but I am still struggling to lose.

Lunch: Ham and cheese omelette with a side of sauteed pepper, mushroom, onion, and sweet potato.
Dinner: Chicken thigh with carrot, peas, mushrooms and cauliflower.
    Treats: None so far.

Really pleased with that as sad to say I’ve not made much of an effort this week again. Was wine and crisps and gin and tonic yesterday. Just can’t get in the right headspace for weight loss at the moment.

    Today’s food is /will be

Greek yoghurt strawberries blueberries chia seeds. Coffee with milk.
Ham salad. Mandarin orange honey fairy cake with cream cheese frosting (refined sugar, butter/marg and gluten free) tea with milk.
Harissa chicken feta traybake with spinach and pinenuts. I expect I’ll finish off the last small glass of wine from yesterday too and a little bit of chocolate.

Reporting a loss of 1lb thanks Cranky.

Still not eating properly, but managing to have smaller portions of "the bad stuff" :) Was hurting too much last night to cook for everyone so joined in their takeaway again, only ate half though.

Will try harder this week :)

If you could live one day of your life over again, which day would you choose?

    Good morning everyone :hello:
Cranky, could I please drop out of this challenge for now as I am having a difficult time at the moment and need to get my head around some things, not just losing weight.

I weighed myself this morning and have put on 21 lb this week (not a typo unfortunately). This means that my heart failure looks to be playing up and I will need to talk to my doctor as even with the best will in the world I cannot eat enough to justify that weight gain.

I wish all of you success and hope you can all achieve your goals. Take care xx
