    @OP

You need to edit that disguised link out of your post and remove the photo from your image hosting site (your link still will be available via cache)

Had a letter saying the unpaid debt has now been handed to Direct Collection Bailiffs Limited.

Can anyone advise whether to ignore this or not?

    Thanks

PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

    Hi all,
Can't believe I'm writing this 2 years later but First Parking LLP have been chasing me again for this parking fine from 3 years ago for the past two months and today I received a court claim through the post..
So I'm seeking some advice as to how I should deal with this, I obviously want to dispute it as they're just ripping off students for no good reason. For context again on what I think happened (again was 3 years ago!) I drove to my University campus for a doctors appointment as I found out I had tonsillitis. Obviously must have missed seeing any sort of sign saying it was private parking because I was feeling awful. Come back 40 mins later to see a parking ticket on my car which sat in an empty car park as term had just ended, the uni was empty.. I'd understand if I had obstructed someone from being able to park but that wasn't the case at all.

There's a section allowing me to write a defense so would really appreciate any advice on what to put here as the forms need returning in two weeks time.

    Thanks

I repeat the advice given on your very first post, it is HERE 25 March 2019 at 4:09PM <<<<<<<<LINK
You will see by reading the NEWBIE sticky, the place I linked to, that you do not fill in the claim form and send it back, you submit a AoS on-line.  This gives you more time to compile your defence (even though there is a standard template defence for you to use) and send it via the e-mail address advised.  If the clam form is from CCBC what is the date of issue of the form?  If you post that here, @KeithP will be along to give you some deadlines.

    1) Tell us the date of issue
    2) Seriously, read the newbies thread as that tells you precisely HOW to do theAOS and gives you precise instructyions that you fololow without question

Thanks all, the issue date was yesterday, 10th February 2021.
I've had a read of the links and found the dropbox link explaining how to go through and do the AoS so I'll get that done tonight. I'll also submit an SAR to First Parking as it was so long ago guess there's less chance they've held onto the PDT machine records and pics. The only email I found to contact on their website Privacy page was sales@firstparking.co.uk.
The link also recommends emailing the solicitor (DCB Legal) stating I've requested a SAR.
    This all correct?

NO. You do not do the AOS tonight. You do it on day 5 from date of issue. This gives you the full 33 days to file your defence.
No it doesnt, because you are reading the bit about a LBC. You HAVE a claim. Do not contact DCB at this point, it will be of no use

    Ah got it. Thank you.
Going to wait til the 15th to complete the AoS and then draft a defense based on the template.
Am I able to post my defense once drafted here for comment?
