Rehood said:Ok thanks, I have added to P2 as below:
'The defendant was visiting University of Sussex campus for a scheduled Doctors appointment and parked in one of the open car parks located in the centre of campus. The car park has no ticket machines present at the entrance. The defendant did not see any sign related to parking charges. If there were signs present, they were not clear to the defendant. The defendant had permission to park in the car park being a full time Student of the University at the time.'
Anything else worth adding?
I would suggest removing those words 'at the entrance' unless you can explain why they are there.3 -
Sussex Health Centre is located on the campus, behind it is a car park not specifically intended for patients I don't think. I'll just remove the at the entrance part.
I have edit P3 to as below:
The defendant was visiting University of Sussex campus to attend an appointment at The Sussex Health Centre, located in the middle of the campus. The defendant parked in one of the open car parks located behind the Health Centre. The defendant saw no obvious ticket machines present. The defendant did not see any sign related to parking charges. If there were signs present, they were not clear to the defendant. The defendant had permission to park in the car park being a full time Student of the University at the time.

So if permission to park was already granted , why mention ticket machines ?? It makes no sense to have PDT machines on a university campus and a permit holder would not even look for them anyway
What do staff and patients of the health centre do for parking ?? Because surely you are following their parking rules ? Is there any agreement on parking between the university and the health centre ?2 -
Sorry really struggling to remember the situation as It was 3 years ago. Scrap the permission bit. Staff must have some sort of permit. Students aren't eligible unless disabled. And no agreement far as Im aware.0

Then your statenent above is perjury , full of untruths , start again on 3 , remember that you will sign that statement of truth at the bottom of the template , read what it says !! See this advice

Also read what you wrote at the start of this thread , find out what the parking arrangements were at the time for that health centre , tomorrow or asap2 -
I think just state the facts as the Defendant knows them and that there was nothing to inform a student attending the onsite Doctor's surgery that the car park was in any way restricted for such a visit which was outside of term time and not covered by information about parking for students, which was only applicable to open term times. It is a large campus and a patient attending the doctor's there, as a student of the Uni, would have the reasonable expectation of being able to park in the adjacent car park for their appointment. No signs were seen, etc etc (your words).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thanks I have edited in line with your comments:
The defendant was visiting University of Sussex campus to attend an appointment at The Sussex Health Centre, located in the middle of the campus. The defendant parked in the car parks adjacent to the Health Centre. As a patient of the clinic and student at the University the Defendant had reasonable expectation to be able to park in the adjacent car park for their appointment. Furthermore, as the visit was outside of term time with majority of students at the University home for the Christmas holidays, the Defendant was not at risk of preventing anyone from parking as the car park was empty. The car park has no obvious ticket machines present. The defendant did not see any sign related to parking charges. If there were signs present, they were not clear to the defendant.
Keen to hear your thoughts.
