Am I able to post my defense once drafted here for comment?
    Provided you spell it correctly!

There's a template at the top of the forum thread list. Use that and all you'll really need to do is customise paras 2 and 3 to set the scene for your case. Only show us what you've added/changed, we definitely don't want or need to see the whole shooting match regurgitated.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Thanks all, the issue date was yesterday, 10th February 2021.

With a Claim Issue Date of 10th February, you have until Monday 1st March to file an Acknowledgment of Service. If possible, do not file an AoS before 13th February, but otherwise, there is nothing to be gained by delaying it.
To file an AoS, follow the guidance in the Dropbox file linked from the second post in the NEWBIES thread.

Having filed an AoS in a timely manner, you have until 4pm on Monday 15th March 2021 to file your Defence.
That's over four weeks away. Plenty of time to produce a Defence, but please don't leave it to the last minute.
To create a Defence, and then file a Defence by email, look again at the second post on the NEWBIES thread - immediately following where you found the Acknowledgment of Service instructions.
Don't miss the deadline for filing an Acknowledgment of Service, nor that for filing a Defence.

When you do alter para 2 and 3,
    - dont write pages
    - concise sentences are the aim
    - 3rd person, same as the rest of the defence
    - dont change the rest of the defence unless you know what youre changing and why.

Thank you all this is incredibly helpful. I'll make sure to spell defense correctly now!!
Once I've drafted my edits for the two paragraphs I'll come back here for feedback or any other questions that come up.

Hi all, back again and finally learnt how to spell 'Defence'!
Putting together paragraphs 2&3 now but struggling to know what detail to include, I have this so far:
    2. It is admitted that the Defendant was the driver of the vehicle in question.
    3. The defendant did not see any sign related to parking charges. If there were signs present, they were not clear to the defendant.

Are there any grounds for adding I was parking at the University I attend for a doctors appointment? This was also out of term time so the campus was empty.
    Any suggestions appreciated.

Save the personal story for your witness statement

Just put a short summary of why the defendant was there , type of car park , if the defendant had permission to park then say so , because otherwise it being empty is irrelevant , it's not a reason to park on private property , even if it's the size of the Isle of Wight

Does the university allow parking on site for this doctors ??

Why doesn't the doctors have its own car park ?

Ok thanks, I have added to P2 as below:
'The defendant was visiting University of Sussex campus for a scheduled Doctors appointment and parked in one of the open car parks located in the centre of campus. The car park has no ticket machines present at the entrance. The defendant did not see any sign related to parking charges. If there were signs present, they were not clear to the defendant. The defendant had permission to park in the car park being a full time Student of the University at the time.'
    Anything else worth adding?

Paragraph 2 was fine as it was , save the embellishments for paragraph 3

Like me , a judge won't know the campus and so will wonder how a university and a doctor's are connected
