Ah right maybe the sales haven't completed yet. There's a possibility they sold for less than 115 which might explain the issue.
You will get lots of really helpful comments on here regarding decor etc. which may help things but ultimately if it's been on the market for that long it probably needs a price drop. Given how long it's been listed too, I would consider killing the current listing, dropping the current estate agent, and relisting with a new estate agent for a lower price. This should get you a fresh listing on the portals which may generate more interest from people who have property alerts set up. Dropping the price will also get you a fresh listing.
IMO there's nothing worse than a stale listing as it indicates that the house is overpriced or there's some issue.
I used to own a house in Sutton Manor incidentally. Hit and miss area to sell in and the houses don't increase in value very much over time. You might get lucky with the right buyer and enough time, but ultimately dropping the price should speed things along.

Selling house with sitting tenent and states attention all landlords and people are going on about the wallpaper, you can't make it up.
Evrn if didn't include sitting tenent, I wasn't aware wallpaper can't be changed to your taste.0 -

Many posters like to focus on anything other than the Elephant in the Room, which of course is Price, and the need to lower it.....0 -

The seems to be plenty of older homes for around 70K for the better ones, Ok mainly ex-council and in need of curb appeal improvements but many have larger gardens and rooms, unless its a real bad area of St. Helens? Seems quite a premium for 'new' build (2009) and a down stairs toilet.
Then the is 2 semis for 130K Within 0.5 miles0
