  • I agree with OP. More style (if you can call it that as it's an adults tool made to look like a child's toy)over substance.

We've just bought a new one after our old one finally gave up. The new one is awful with far less suction power than the old, so it's going back for a refund.

Many moons ago when I worked as a cleaner at uni we used to have Henrys and they were great, excellent suction. I suspect it is down to recent regulations.

We have a Charles. As it's both wet and dry (though we've never used the wet functionality) it isn't regulated in power in the same way as Henry so has a bigger motor.

'im indoors says it sucks nicely.

So when it comes to sucking Charles is more satisfying than Henry, and you feel this down to the fact that he can moisten your rug?

    Take it back then.

    Issue over.
Hi there! We’ve had to remove your signature. It was so good we removed it because we cannot think of one so good as you had and need to protect others from seeing such a great signature.

    Answered in Post 2.

By using a vacuum cleaner that doesn't vacuum properly, you are helping to mitigate the causes of global warming.

Its an excellent EU innovation, and I'm sure they are planning further improvements for us. Kettles that only heat the water to 80C perhaps. Or toasters that merely warm the bread.
