Nothing to admit, I had no plans of pullin a 'swifty'.
I genuinely thought I could have a viable reason. With the draughted letters and such we can download for claimin money from banks ill gotten gains etc, just the right way of saying something true..a professional letter if you will.

You don't know if you dont ask.

I need more stirring than that Donnie ;)

Untill i get the chance to call the airline...can anyone answer..

If i change the dates (it is a flexi ticket) to a cheaper travel date..do you still pay the original fee..or does it drop/rise in accordance to the 'new' dates picked?

    What 'original fee'?

Don't take offence, but you seem to be waffling.
Your 'real' reason for not travelling is a 'relationship problem', but you want someone to help you find a 'viable reason' to give to the insurance companies Claims Department.
If the real reason is your 'relationship problem', trying to get the insurance company to believe anything else is pulling a 'swifty'.

Then you claim that you had no plans of pulling a 'swifty'.

You're like a kid with chocolate all over their face, who insists they had nothing to do with the taking of the chocolate.

Has your 'relationship problem' anything to do with your inability to tell the truth?

The change fee is always the same, regardless of the price of the new seat. If the new seat is more expensive, you pay the difference in addition to the fee.
If cheaper there is no refund, you just pay the change fee.

I'm sure this is clear in the T&Cs.

Been browsing this site while at lunch - this is the third thread in fairly quick succession where posters have been advising tactics which are quite simply illegal.

Time to change the name to moneyscammingexperts.com ?

Edited to recognise that not all responders to each thread were advocating dishonesty.

You need to calm down. This is a well known public forum. Imagine how well it would go down in the press, if it seemed that the forum was condoning Insurance fraud.
    We don't and rightly so.
So, for the greater good, do give this subject a rest. Thank you.

Look, the OP asked a question, probably looking for a loophole, something even the great Martin :money: himself actual looks for, not fraud, but a loophole. I have tried to be positive and offer options, even though they may not be viable, they were options offered. The OP has also took this with the right spirit, but we always get "goodie two shoes" slagging peolple off. If you can't help and are NOT perfect why get involved

Once again, good luck to IQ=0, I hope you find that "loophole", even at the annoyance of others, especially the 100% law abiders, the ones who have NEVER done a thing wrong

I think you were thanked by accident.

Ripping off companies? Please show me such an instance?
Getting you own back on banks? Do you agree with all of their charges?

Feel good about being dishonest? Where does he do that?

Personally, I think we get good value travel insurance in this country.

There's a big difference in helping people to save money and making them aware of unfair practice, than helping them to make a false insurance claim.

You post is pure rubbish.....again.....or do I miss the irony?
