Just a thought, a sober one (no cooking sherry yet).............................

...................why not just "miss" your flight, either by say, getting there too late to check in, or turn up without your passport. Does your insurance cover for this?? There must be a way around this and you deserve it for the novelty value.

What's the matter you ??

Who don't you just send her a 'swag' bag and a mask?

If you miss the flight, you have to have a genuine reason for missing the flight, and proof of this reason. You would not be covered for forgetting your passport.

Just trying to help out a person in need, there must be a solution to this, even if not strictly honest. Must have happened loads of times.

So missing the flight due to arriving late for a departure may be an option???
It happens all the time on that Easyjet programme!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Unless the OP knows a dodgy policeman that will make up a road accident then no, arriving late is not an option.

You shouldn't really be suggesting such things. The insurers take false reports very seriously, and they do report such incidents to the police.

I didn't think that you would, but some people search the forums and assume that if someone has suggested it then it is ok to do it ...

Some people have an IQ of even less than yours! ;)

Best of luck IQ=0, but there must be a solution, there always is. It's just a case of someone coming up with an answer, although I still think a "missed departure" may be viable depending on the wording of your insurance.
I know what's it's like to have "relationship troubles" and in fact I had a terrible one quite recently when the b@$t@rd came back :D

Word the truth in a way that works??

Since we don't know the truth, how could we re-word it?

No, there was most certainly an inference of creating a scenario that was not true.

    Don't be ashamed. Admit it.
