Not as good as the current one but I'll be buying the swede, mushrooms and garlic. :)

The mushrooms are more expensive than basic white ones but a nice change. I like to make swede and carrot mash, with cottage pie it's about my only SP dinner. Although I use Lazy Garlic mostly, I use whole cloves with roast veg. :)

Weigh in for me tonight, so tubs from the freezer for ease.

Cause it's just me, unless the super 6 is something that's in my menu plan I don't really bother

I need to do a 'roast' on a Sunday. Your meals all look lovely and I think I miss it cause I get to a Sunday and generally am not satisfied by my meals...

I like to do a roast on a Sunday and the leftovers can be made into lots of meals for the freezer for later. I always do a roast chicken at least once a month as can stretch that to at least 3 or 4 days meals for the 2 of us - roast on Sunday, cold on Monday, curry for the freezer, the odd bits I use to make into a chicken & chorizo risotto for a quick and easy meal. If I can be bothered I might make a stock for soup from the. bones!

Will be back later with my menu plan as DH is about to dish up breakfast!

  • Feeling miserable as hell, have had a raging toothache all weekend, completely alien to me as I have managed to get this far in life without one. Waiting for dentist to open so I can get an emergency appointment. On the plus side, not eating either!
A smile costs little but creates much :)
