Stupid Q of the week!
Got my new Iomega Prestige 500GB external hard drive, all connected & turned on.
But what next? How do I store everything I got & new stuff, please!!
DOH!!
Thanks in advance
VB0 -
store or backup? The former is risky if it's your only copy
plug in, copy data in windows explorer!!

On the macrium site it states, 'Image to Network, USB, FireWire drives and DVD'. Where it reads Network, does that also mean external HD? (Sorry!)0 -
usb = usb external hard disk
any hard disk visible in windows will work for backup, but the bootcd (which is only used for recovery) should be tested on each machine to make sure the hardware works under linux!!
