Have done, wait and see what they come back with if anything.

Posting my directions questionnaire first class today so that'll be in for the 29th so all good there. On the letter it says I should serve copies on all other parties.

So should I be sending it to UKPPO? BWLegal? Or both?

Thanks again for the help, I've not heard back from Bounty about the what's app group, can anyone else add me?

The address for documents to be send to the 'other party' will be on your Claim Form.

    Perfect thanks,

I've requested one and they've came back asking for proof of who I am, before they'll send information, wanting a copy of driving licence, utility bill or similar. This seems reasonable but from memory one of the stickied threads said I shouldn't need to do that, any thoughts on this.

Sorry for all the questions, just wanting to make sure I'm getting things right.

    Thanks

So just went back to see what ID they'd ask for on the email, it's driving license, passport, utility bill.

Interestingly though, they refer to the parking charge dated August 2018, (I've not mentioned dates at all in my communication with them) when the charge that BW have been referring too is August 2016...

Have they just pulled the 2018 date out of thin air? Just I ask for them to clarify that or just wait and see what comes through from the SAR, don't want to give them something for nothing.

    Thanks again guys

Definitely no to using a driving licence as proof of ID. The ICO have said that asking for photo ID is unreasonable as the other party has nothing to compare it to.

A copy of the V5 and the SAR from the person named on it at the address shown on it is all the proof the scammers need.

I've not sent my driving licence so I'm good on that front.

I have an address to send my directions questionnaire too for BW Legal. I haven't sent them anything else yet? Should I have?
(apart from an email exchange when the claim first came up, where I refused to pay)
Should I have sent a copy of my defence that I sent back in response to the claim form to them? It was a poor defence as it was prior to speaking with you guys.

Unfortunately I don't have a printer, will emailing the DQ to BW legal suffice?
  • Hi Guys - Just a quick question

    Unfortunately I don't have a printer,
You are going to need access to one for your WS and evidence, pre-hearing.

You are free to join this one, as we decided it would save duplication for all UKPPO Newcastle Airport cases to run here on this thread as they are all essentially the same (which is rare here).

The facts and issues are the same in all of them.

Send a Private Message to the thread starter and copy in one or two of the other UKPPO victims who posted with decent keenness at the start, and you should get one of them replying about the whatsapp group.

SunTemple, read from the start & send UKPPO a SAR by email to flush out all photos.

Normal, so talk to the WhatsApp group if you have any questions after reading the NEWBIES thread about 'what happens when' ( a link to a post by bargepole).

    Hi All,

Not been able to access the What's App group yet, can anyone add me please, or let me know who is best to PM, I've not received responses from any of my PM's so far.

Also, what are the expected timescales for something like this? The last thing I received was BE Legals DQ and a letter from them wanting me to contact them to resolve it (I haven't contacted them). Am I right in thinking that the next step is court and we're just awaiting a date?

    Thanks

Many folk here don't respond to PMs as we would get swamped with them.

In answer to your question it's a case of how long is a piece of string? There is no clear cut answer sorry. Some courts are quicker than others but all are slow.

You should get notification of a court date fairly soon though.
