What's happened to the person who tried the option of contesting jurisdiction?

    Hi All,

Trying to get on track with this as I know i'm behind on where I should be.

I've contacted Bounty to get in the whatsapp group and I've sent off a SAR to UKPPO using the legal beagle template.

I've recently received my Notice of Proposed Allocation to the Small Claims Track and have until the 29th to return the Small Claims Directions Questionnaire, should I still contact BW Legal to inform them I have sent their client a SAR, should I be sending a SAR to BW Legal? What I have read only some posts reference sending a SAR to BW so i'm not 100%.

Thanks in advance guys, any advice for the directions questionnaire is appreciated, I have seen an earlier post in this thread with template answers so planning to use them.

As far as I know, the SAR goes to the PPC only. It's up to them to tell BW.

Yes, the idea is to flush out all photos & letters, which will make you all more informed when you do your Witness Statements & evidence as you will have seen their hand.

No need to SAR the solicitor, they have very little data and certainly nothing that UKPPO don't have and must make available to you as a SAR reply.

    Perfect thanks,

I've requested one and they've came back asking for proof of who I am, before they'll send information, wanting a copy of driving licence, utility bill or similar. This seems reasonable but from memory one of the stickied threads said I shouldn't need to do that, any thoughts on this.

Sorry for all the questions, just wanting to make sure I'm getting things right.

    Thanks

it is reasonable (ESPECIALLY AS THEY ARE CONSTRAINED BY gdpr SO WONT JUST PASS IT OUT TO ANYONE WHO EMAILS THEM) , so either use a copy of the N1 form, or a copy of the V5C

Not your driving licence, too much information and sort of implies you were the driver.

Whilst I understand the general need to verify the ID of the requester, in cases like this it 'begs the question'..

If the parking co are so unsure of the RK's ID, why the Dickens are they pursuing the unidentified RK for parking charges?
There doesn't seem to be any doubts in the parking co's tiny minds when it's that way around.

So just went back to see what ID they'd ask for on the email, it's driving license, passport, utility bill.

Interestingly though, they refer to the parking charge dated August 2018, (I've not mentioned dates at all in my communication with them) when the charge that BW have been referring too is August 2016...

Have they just pulled the 2018 date out of thin air? Just I ask for them to clarify that or just wait and see what comes through from the SAR, don't want to give them something for nothing.

    Thanks again guys
