I'm still waiting for the cheque that the Judge ordered fourteen days for them to pay, nine days and counting.

It is a shame the Judge decided not to award all of my costs as this would help to tip the balance against a company stealing cash from the innocent.

I wish I'd have made more of a point about their unreasonable behaviour and should have increased my costs to reflect this.

I hope more and more people stand up to these scammers and have their costs paid, this forum is definitely a thorn in their side and all of you that help others should pat yourselves on the back.

Come and join us. You have more experience on the court front than almost all of us volunteers advising people how to deal with their court claims!
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

    Thanks for the offer.

I will definitely track this forum and try to offer encouragement or/and advice to others, even with my very limited knowledge.
  • Glad to hear of your win.

If you could post the name of the judge and the case number it may help others.

With this info perhaps Coupon-mad might craft a de minimis defence quote that could be used in all mis keying defences along the lines of her ABUSE OF PROCESS.

Glad to read about this success - albeit late! Well done. :T

I did post a thanks to you earlier as you were one of the main posters who guided me through.

Your excellent knowledge and advice of how to proceed gave me a winning advantage adding fundamental points.

Once again thanks for all your help and support and please keep it going as it is very much appreciated.

Court case won on the 9th August with costs being awarded within 14 days.

Just returned from holiday expecting to find a cheque but nothing.

Phoned VCS to find out why and they reckon it was posted on the 22nd and will have to cancel it and post another one out.

More lies from Vcs, typical. Will have to wait further.
  • Get it in writing that theyve missed one and have promised another
That way you can, if they miss this one, immediately get a warrant on them. Adds to their costs.

Thanks, I think I was naive to expect the cheque.
