Luckily my email was waiting for me at 6.20am after I had made the lunchboxes. So when DS3 got up I could tell him his future was secure.:rotfl: Cos he was even bothered!

I got my email today - at 13.06. How rubbish is that!!!!!!!

    Fmess- have a lovely evening!
    Ccl- thank you!
    Apple muncher- lovely quote :o

Today has been fairly productive, I made a list of activities I'd like to do with my children & set out to try & find the best deals on them. On the list is "Thomas Land" & after a bit of digging I found that hub gets in free as hes military , hurrah :j
This afternoon I cut up a a load of my childrens old clothes for cleaning rags, we had a real sort out yesterday & took mostof it to the charity shop but those that weren't good enough will come in as rags.
started some knitting last night for my friend who is expecting. My mum gave me some brown wool & I really wasn't sure what I'd do with it but the baby is due in winter so Im making a rudolf hat from it!

Not loads more to report, hope everyone's having a nice weekend

    Achieved my first NSD today.
Walked to/from park. Walked the park run. Managed a pretty good time today.
On way to park, put cartons/jars into the appropriate recycling bins which are near some local shops. Cannot recycle these in the communal recycling bin.
Managed to tidy up a few things in the flat. Looks better.
Had a nice chat on phone to brother and sister.
    Used what I had in.
Might have to get the natural deodorant in a tin later on in the month. Have enough money for that category. Will have to make sure I have enough deodorant when away on holiday. At least I can recycle the tin after use - always wash it out first.

f0xh0les - only worry about finding pleasure in pegging out when you start 'having to' make patterns with the pegs, it's a sign of severe lack of excitement elsewhere in my life and plummeting mental health,

Oh pox, I like to have the colours matching:rotfl:, but I will be going back over to wooden pegs as the plastic ones will now be replaced when they sproing off, in favour of old fashioned wooden ones what biodegrade. :T

Kerry Woman - are you going to sell your flat so that you can move?

Part of my investing in myself is to get back out running. Dd likes to come with me on a sat morning - she's on her bike and is slower than me. If she also ran, I fear she might be faster than me... And although I sometimes feel like I am flying along, I do think that I look more of a waddling hippo...

Today I am grateful for getting out for a run, for a chilled day, for plenty of reading, for finding good things in the ch shops including a costume for dd for Book dress up day this week, some trousers for mum as she is more rotund at the mo and dd spent some of her own money on an awesome HPotter pop-up book. I'm also grateful that my mince mix cooked ok in the slow cooker, that my date/cashew/sultana mix was yummy, that dh changed the bed linen and turned the mattress.

apple muncher - Yes I am going to sell the flat so that I can move. Hopefully I can get a good price for the flat so that I can buy another property outright without dipping into my savings. Hoping to get a bungalow. Not too sure when I will look into when to move, will wait till after my holiday, then decide.

    Evening
Today has been a success overall. Lots of self care and relaxing. However, I didn't manage a nsd. What I did manage to do was pull together enough money to pay off the phone contract I took out for my ex about a month before we separated. It will be added to the list of costs and owed funds...
Managed a little PAD, which I must try and get back into again.
Very grateful for a day of not doing much and resting and catching up with good company.

You are worthy. You are someone. You are the only version of 'you' to ever exist in the universe. You are great. You are special.

    Loving the quotes Apple

Thanks lauren had a great night and spends overall were not too bad and well within budget.

Today is going to be a me day :) I have turned down invites out as just need to rest after last night’s antics and spend some time with my dogs. Not sure if I’ve said but my oldest (10ish years) and most beloved dog has an inoperable tumour and I fear he’s getting very close to the end now. He’s the loveliest sweetest soul and I feel so sad for him to have to deal with this when he’s been such a good companion to me. So today will be lots of cuddles, he has an oncology check up on Tuesday so will take the vets advice then. I’m very lucky to have such a big vets that has its own specialist vets (it’s like super vet on tv).
