sashanut - I'm the same, I've never played a computer game, I don't really watch much tv and don't often listen to music, I like quiet as I have quite a busy brain and would rather not make it worse.
jojo77 - I make a basic bread dough using 500g white bread flour, 1 sachet of yeast, 1/2 tsp ish of salt, 1 tbsp ish of oil and 300ml warm water, knead it till smooth and elastic then let it rise somewhere warm (need to put it in an oiled bowl with clingfilm over and a tea towel on that, I use the same piece of clingfilm until it tears). Knock the air out after it has risen. This recipe makes 4 individual pizzas so I separate the dough into 4 put some oil onto my hands and shape the dough into a ball and put it in a freezer bag making sure to get as much air out of the bag as possible. Defrost in the fridge on the day.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Hi all
Dropped of the grid in February. Had a bad cold which then turned into a chest infection so kind of spent the rest of the month just recuperating. Back to normal now so hitting March with Gusto
Will come back later and will post my goals.0 -
Morning
Good to see you back Lauren, and pleased you're on the up at the moment - long may it continue.
Today I have small plans - mainly focussed on getting the bare minimum done whilst looking after myself. I have already washed the dishes and hoovered, and I have to get the first load of washing on. I have about 3-4 hours of exam work to do, which I'll do in small bits during the day, and I'm going to visit bestie for a coffee and catch up this afternoon. I'll do my usual stuff of a bit of crochet, bit of work, bit of crochet, bit of work etc. Best get on with a new blanket if my 'naughty step' blanket is already in use;) I'm so tired at the moment I really want to focus on looking after myself no matter what. That has included cancelling today's tutoring session (I just need a rest) and giving away some football tickets I had. I don't like football and ds wasn't bothered, so might as well save the fuel costs and spend the time doing something I want. Catching up with bestie.

Well, S.Wigston is now county not city, (Wigston and Oadby separatist council ) - if you ever ring them they make it quite clear they are not IN Leicester!!! -it is quite funny, and last year they did away with that weirdness of yr 6 being in high school . I will never understand why they insist on being so blimmin' uncooperative - I mean who does it benefit to have 2 different term dates within a mile?
Luckily my email was waiting for me at 6.20am after I had made the lunchboxes. So when DS3 got up I could tell him his future was secure.:rotfl: Cos he was even bothered!4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Breadbags - most can be recycled with plastic bags -I think the rule is if you pull it and it stretches it can be recycled. Our council will take plastic bags in with kerbside recycling, but Mr M's shopping emporium and T0ssc0 take them too, they usually have one of those stuffer boxes for bag recycling somewhere hidden at the back end of the store behind the battery recycling bins and coat hanger and light bulb recycling bins they feel the need to hide in case anyone actually wants to use them.
My foot has totally forgotten to be unwell (yay! disappeared as quickly as it came)
My imaginary garden furniture is still imaginary, so you can sit anyone one it, it will definitely be naughty when it gets here, so a naughty seat it can be.
Waste - I have made a menu plan with what I have in the house, and I seem to have 22 main meals () so I only need the odd bit of veg and some bread now.
- Utilities – laundry on line
- Money – £20 in purse as my float for the week. Should not need to touch a bank card (famous last words)
-happy.- erm, does making coconut and cherry cakes count? It takes me further away from my long-term goal (to not resemble a bun), but it was lush. Also enjoyed pegging sheets onto the line (pervert)
- long-term goals- 2 boxes to sort through today, cleaned the patio doors to the back room - second time in 3 years:rotfl: Overpaid the mortgage to get me under £90k (one pence under, but under is under)
needs not wants
I want a lemon tree from Mr Aldeee.
Simplicity
- changing bedsheets on designated dates is working really well. Teens are changed fortnightly, everyone else's on 1st of month, pillow slips more regularly if needed - why it never occurred to me to just change the pillow cases weekly is beyond me. I feel more in control doing this (yeah, weird huh?)
- Make space for yourself. - I will need more space if I keep baking buns!:rotfl:. This needs to be addressed.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

f0xh0les - only worry about finding pleasure in pegging out when you start 'having to' make patterns with the pegs, it's a sign of severe lack of excitement elsewhere in my life and plummeting mental health,My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage0

Waste management
Food
Shopping today. Chicken for Sunday lunch for three of us but bought smaller one than normal. Chicken breast to make curries for the Boy. Other than that cleaning products and some fruit. Stuck to the list - nothing extra. Got a bit of a meal plan but it's flexible, Best thing I ever did was to write down everything that's in the freezer and keep it up to date. Lunch and dinner from what we already have.
Plastics etc
Still trying to recycle as much as I can but must admit our council isn't very clear about what can go in the recycling bins and what can't.
Utillities
Heating has been off but it's getting a bit chilly now so might put it on in the living room for a short time
Money
Thanks for the suggestions about the Swedish coins, I'll check with the charity shops locally first. Started a notebook to record all spends and I'm keeping the receipts to review at the end of the month.
Invest in yourself
Read a few chapters of the book last night. I think I need to make a bit of a plan to look after my appearance a bit more. Got the clothes, make up etc - just need to make a bit of an effort. And I hate to say it yet again but I really need to loose weight.
Needs not wants
Didn't buy anything extra today. Everything was needed. F0xh0les, I would love one of those trees as well but it wouldn't last two minutes here once the children saw it.
Simplicity
Tidied another little bit and hopefully establishing a routine.
Right, I'm off for a cuppa.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.0 -
f0xh0les/mothernerd - I like pegging out too and have a particular way of doing it that cannot be deviated from - I have tried but have to go back and do it properly.
Cycled this morning before the wind picked up, lovely hot shower after is always a welcome treat. Called into town this afternoon for a light bulb for my sewing machine and a part for the basin tap which needed repairing - both bits have been fitted now so two frogs off the list. Bought some raspberry and mint Ruffles bars as my stash was getting depleted, also bought a very lovely skirt from a charity shop, was going to leave it but I don't have that many skirts and it will go with quite a few of my tops.
DD bought her friend a very lovely gift for £3 and she also got some Ben & Jerry's Pretzel ice cream for £1.49 a tub so she is smiling at the moment. Got the Greggs app this week and DD got the free hot drink they do as a welcome freebie and I've told her she can have my £5 Body Shop birthday gift so the smile got bigger.
Burgers for tea today then pj's and the rest of my bottle of red - happy days.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler
