Actually feeling a bit now - successfully moved my desk and chest of drawers, and it looks nice. Once I can get rid of the 5 plus bags for the charity shop it will be good.

Get those bags loaded in the car now and then drop them somewhere first thing! Do it!!

(Says the woman with 2 huge bags of stuff in her hall that needs to make it to the car before she breaks a leg on it) and yes, it's stuff I've moved here that I now longer need/fit/like and yes it should have gone before but my old wardrobe was bigger so it was easier to keep.

Oh but Pooky that would involve bringing in the two massive bags of hay and block of sawdust in the car......doesn't every one store hay in their car?

Some what stalled on the room front. the furniture fits but it won't work well...I need to swap round two bits.

Tomorrow is results day tho so I am off to work for the morning. I wish I could say I am nervous but it is now a case of well if they are !!!! I am going and if they aren't I will more than likely stay.

One thing I realised, if I sort out the room it will be quite spacious

Why do you need to provide explanations for a day for yourself? Also, why worry about brexit? To me, it’s like taxes or paying for diesel. A necessary evil that I can’t impact

Good luck with results day today.
I know it's hard to put yourself first when it's not in your basic programming (I am the same) but as DIA says if you don't look after yourself then you can't look after the others that you're 'responsible' for. I have to say that I couldn't bear the idea of my mam again, much as I love her, we're two completely different adults. I would imagine it's draining without all of the other stuff going on as well.

Is there anyway the animals could be cared for in kennels, cattery, kind neighbour to feed the guinea pigs etc, in order to give you the opportunity to get away and have a holiday? If not now perhaps October half term?

Results day........ Well if the student worked well then they got a good grade.

However so many of our kids didn't work, so as a school it is quite !!!!.

Me personally....I feel I did the absolute best I could in a year of complete hell. It is what it is. I could write a better explanation but it would give too much away!

Not everyone can be academic and hopefully the less successful students will find an alternative route in life. Not a reflection on you by any means, you can only do so much.
