600 pounds.
Now if I were a proper adult who hadn't had two large vodkas with lunch I would be totally fine with that. As a sensible grown up person I have that money in savings.
However I am a stroppy slightly drunk person currently so am somewhat put out by the fact that just yesterday I managed to save 670 in my penny a day account and now 600 is going to my lovely mechanic.
At least it made me clean out my car...
Once I sober up I remember how lucky I am. honestly I will!Nevertheless she persisted.0 -
I have now checked FOUR times that the PPI claims cover the main banks.
Jesus Buffy calm the !!!! down.
I have also jiggled money around... I have used some of my "float" from my wages (the money that pays off the CC in normal months, the money I say to myself each month will be extra savings - let me know when you have stopped laughing and I will continue) ..........................................................................................................................................................................................................Suspects Beanie and Pooky are still laughing...........................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................
Anyhow that makes September tighter than a ducks !!!!.
but it means I have 550 in the penny a day accountIf I can hang on to that until September's Pay day that would be good.
And by good, I mean miracle.Nevertheless she persisted.0 -
Not laughing
. Can we just agree that you're doing the PPI worry for both of us because I'm adamant I never took any out so haven't claimed. A small part of my brain is going "but maybe, just maybe" and the other part is just saying "nope, you always opted out because it didn't cover a friend that died and left his wife in all kinds of crap". But then chocolate happens and my mind just gives up thinking of money.

Can I just check - was it chocolate? X
Also I did Mum's PPI on Resolver. I did use a company but they have not acknowledged the application and don't seem to have a login in situation so I am just taking the brace and a belt approach. Feel a bit better now. Only a bit tho. Just be Friday already.
