Definitely the Valli mantra which I am forever trotting out. Plus the other Valli much loved one - Make Two, Freeze One.
Round - red boots? Go you - so jealous!
So I seem to have managed the dailies, including a load of washing (towels) which will probably still be wet enough to have to hang out in the morning if it’s sunny, and not a lot else. Dinner was a mish mash of leftovers and other created bits which I presented as a coherent meal. They weren’t fooled but were sensible enough not to complain.
DH is out for an hour or so. DD is studying. I’m considering my knitting.
Mrs MP - I hope today was manageable.0 -
This afternoon hasn't been as productive as this morning. pickle and I hit two garden centres, bought some bedding plants to prettify the pots at the front of the house and some seed potatoes for eating (eventually) we also got beetroot seeds as that particular item (fruit/veg/tuner???) is a pickle
Favourite.
Bedding plants potted, and beetroot seeds planted. Potatoes will need to wait for another day - not entirely sure where I'm going to chit them this year (house in chaos)
Some washing dry, but none put away (don't worry Valli, it will happen)
Tea made, all cleared up dw run (I might empty it tonight)
3 days of paid stuff coming up, so bare minimums only coming up.
Have a good week.Outstanding mortgage: £23,181 (December 19)

In bed early.. As I was fighting dozing off since I came in, I gave up at about ten, took my cup into the kitchen... And witnessed armageddon.
Cleaned it up, snarled at Himself when he tiptoed down to say 'you can leave that' - 'I'm nearly finished now!' - swept the floor and realised I was wide awake again.
Now scowling into the dark, wishing that he would get the hint of that I think he's scummy and content to endanger my health (chucked food out he was planning on putting in my lunchbox a when I realised there was a fly marching across it - it had been there all night, all day, uncovered and with the heating on full blast).
Maybe tomorrow.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0 -
Morning all
No work today. Wm has just finished and I’ve hung the jumpers on my new clothes horse. That has made me too happy.
Yesterday I was asked at work to take on more responsibility/ a different job. Although I knew it was coming, I’m now really anxious about it. Been there with my previous company and definitely got the T-shirt. I’m not sure that I want to repeat the experience, although this is a completely different kettle of fish. It also means changing my working days which sounds daft but I’ve got to like this routine and it works for DH and DD. Ah well.
Anyway today is going to be flyday although I might squeeze a bit of allotment in.
Have a lovely day all and catch you later.0 -
Morning all. Hope you're all ok this morning.
I'm going back to bed shortly as my head is pounding. Not planning on doing too much today.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.0 -

So, I'll put a wash on and leave hubby to empty the dishwasher.

Morning
I've been looking at the space where the typewriter used to beThe rest of that corner can be cleared out and then the flat pack bedside cabinet which is still flat,
, and hiding somewhere in ROD1, can be put up - a bit more storage, a bit less clutter and with my new pillows and bedding (did I mention I bought a sheet and pillow cases to match my duvet cover yesterday too? Tired of sleeping in rags as well as wearing them
) my bedroom will be a step nearer a haven. Not today but now it has been 'thunk' it is a step nearer happening :T
WM is swishing whilst I have my first brew. I do like this not-at-work-today lark
Random but true: I think when DS was at Uni every time he needed a pencil he went out and bought a pack of 50 pencils. Either that or they have been breeding under the kitchen table  Hopefully someone who frequents cs is in need of pencils
Right - breakfast, get dressed, hang out washing. Sounds like a plan
Hope everyone has a good day. How did your first day go Mrs MP? Thinking about you.
