Morning all. Hope you're all ok.
So far today, I have WUDUPA, cleaned sink & downstairs toilet & sink and cleaned the fridge out.
Trip out today to stock up on store cupboard foods. Will also S&S bathroom and walk the dogs of course.
Other than that, I think some hobby time would be good (or another read a book day if that's better, Round).
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.0 -

Round you are making huge strides already!!;)
They say slow and steady wins the race, so keep dot to dotting and eventually it’ll all come together.
Please try not to over stretch, definitely get your DS to help with any heavy stuff, too often I’ve persevered, only wishing I hadn’t when the ouchies set in!:rotfl:
Hope you are feeling better today MadamMim xx I got carried away-having manoeuvred the mattress round a hairpin bend, down the stairs and out the front door by myself I thought I was Super-Round :rotfl: I heaved the cupboard down one step on to the faux landing and then ummed and ahhed a little and decided discretion was indeed the better part of valourDS and GF returned from their foray to Liverpool yesterday evening and I showed GF the progress made this week. That made me look at what I have done :T:j instead of concentrating on everything left to do
. They already knew something was afoot as they had to walk past the mattress on the drive
Other than that, I think some hobby time would be good (or another read a book day if that's better, Round).:D I had another read-a-book day on Friday and today is the last day of my leave so I'm going to bank your offer Jazee -I'll probably be in dire need of it next Saturday after a week back at work. However, I have found the bag with all my cross stitch paraphernalia sat on a chair tucked under the kitchen table.... but first I need to get dressed and at least do the dailies so that I start back at work with a clean slate.
Have a good day lovely ladies

I have a begging request...
Is anyone going to a Dunelm in the next few days??? My mother is desperate for a specific pair of curtains.. they have them in the Stockport store but none here.. not sure where else has them.. but of course we would cover postage if someone were able to locate them for us.
You know how it is when you get your heart set on something?
THESE ONES .. in 90x90.. in plum..
Got them. However the packaging had been opened (though the curtains clearly had not been removed from it) so I asked the SA to check them for me, which she did (she'd already had to find them for me lol) and they are fine so they have been repackaged, in store, into a new, tamper-evident bag.
They're the 90" x 90" pencil pleat Montana in Plum (just to confirm). I assume you do still want them?
I'll be around this evening. I would have PM'd you;)Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

It's hardwired into the house electrics, unfortunately.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0 -
Just catching up on thread. Great news Mrs MP
I hada reasonable drive to Mum's on Thurs, alone as Mr N was going to an ex-colleague's leaving do on Fri.. Spent much of Friday helping Mum decluttering her dining room as she's just had the painter in so everything was boxed up. Put a few things on Gumtr€€ and took a couple of bags to cs. Cleaned windows. Late afternoon had frantic text from Mr N, asking if I could contact his brother. He'd gone round to see MIL as usual and found her on the floor, with copious vomit and a broken hip. Long story shortened, but I'm home now, MIL had op to pin hip and is now very confused in hospital. Sadly Alzheimer's, anaesthetic, shock and dehydration are making her hallucinate, talk rubbish and be more stubborn than usual. She's pulled out drips, refused to drink from a spouted beaker and is being fairly rude to everyone. We hope this wild exacerbation of her usual signs is temporary.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -
Awful news narcolepsy, I hope she improves soon but it's a lot for her to go through x0
