Pink, I too am really pleased that Adam is home and is on the road to recovery.

Pen-Pen, I hope your DD enjoyed MCR, my DD saw them earlier this year and well done to DS on his medal.

I am waiting for the latest on Hardup-Hester's lodger, Hester must keep wondering if Jeremy Beadle is going to leap out of a cupboard at any moment.

Not got much planned today, I must move my unsold car boot stuff back upstairs, along with the paste tables. This may not appear like a tough job, but we only live on the ground floor and to get upstairs, we have to go out of the front door and down the side of the house and in a separate door.
Then up 2 flights of stairs. We do keep thinking about putting it back to one house, but have not really decided. :rolleyes: Well, I have, but not yet convinced Mr Twit.

Soooo glad the forums are back up and working, I really missed being able to catch up.

Morning Ive been missing a good few days now got addicted to the competitions forum but Ive still been reading I'm off work for another two weeks so here goes .
Yesterday went to the garden centre with a friend to look at Xmas decorations but I said it made me want to put up the tree think Ive peeked too soon:snow_laug
Today Ive put the dw on and the bm I'm going to do the ironing and clean the fish tank,:(
Pork chops and veg for tea.

Morning all,

Still not up to scratch since I had to go back on full medication...although I actually felt like getting up when I woke this morning, that hasn't happened since about May of 2006 so that's a plus...have decided that I don't care how long the medications is necessary, still hope that I might be off before heading to Oz next year, but not going to worry...worrying is what got me here in the first place.

Snowy...that table sounds lovely, you were right to wait for good things.

Stefejb...can you not do something legal to wring some more money out of that so-and-so...even some of the money you're down...should be cost of living increases in maintenance I think...would feel sorry for him if he didn't have it...sorry, didn't mean to go off on one! Used to love my role profile annual review...could never regard it as anything except load of rubbish

Aussie...glad to hear that all the lads and lasses are in improving health.

Have decided that I am going to tackle that living room in segments...to-day is back wall and small amount of ceiling to be painted, then change range of family pictures on wall. Tomorrow one of the side walls and a bit more ceiling...its sorta panelled so joins won't show! Hope to get it finished before weekend although windows and deepset, wooden lined so they will take a while to paint, door needs scrubbing with any cleaner I can get that will work...can't get Stardrops. Then there is all the mahogany furniture to wash and polish...would be afraid to calculate when the room got more than swish and swipe so going for the real thing this time!

Need to sort out Christmas present shelf...tend to forget what's there so need to allocate and wrap what I can

Christmas pudding 2 is now steaming away merrily so that will be something else finished with.
