Am ok wth the procedure when filling out a returns form but I keep reading it is easier...if you do your order on line...which I do......to print off the credits page but I don't know if Im being dim but cant seem to work out how to do this.
    Hi KM

Been a long week so I might have misread you... are you wanting to know how to print your returns invoice thingy (the one where you pop one in the returns package and the other you get signed and keep yourself)?

If so, when you do online returns, you get an option to print the returns invoice off (from memory it's a light blue text boxy thing on the top left of the screen that confirms what you're returning). When I get home tonight I'll see if I can get better 'directions' lol

dont give up, it can take a few campaigns to get up and running, also it takes time for people to realise you do avon, and once they do the orders can pour in.

try and read back at the messages left on here. 90% are positive and its working well for people.

you may need to leave a book, and let people know you will collect it back from them in two days time. if you leave it longer they forget about it, but knowing you will be back they will return book to you. if they dont order this time, they may next time. i have about 180 customers and about 50 order each time. they dont order all the time. as mentioned before is it better to have a customer who orders £5 - £10 each book or someone who only orders
once a year but places £200 order. who's the best customer?

    keep going, good luck

Are you door-knocking? I've only just started doing this (apart from my immediate neighbours who I door-knocked in my first campaign to tell them I was doing Avon) and what I've found is that some people who mean to order haven't filled it in yet and so do it on the doorstep.

My other tip is - and maybe I'm wrong - what do others think about this? But I always put some lippy on and do a quick dust of blusher before I go out, even if just for a catalogue drop. And I leave the jeans at home and wear some smarter trousers. To me I'm not just any old catalogue seller, I'm special, I'm Avon.

A letter or note introducing yourself helps. Again, your not just another rep, but you're saying you want to build a personal relationship with your customers.

Have you Knocked on the doors for the brochures back? On my first campaign I had to knock on most of the doors as I didn't have any plastic bags to put them in. I do tend to find that if your brochures are in small plastic bags then they are more inclined to leave them out for you. I am just using large sandwich bags while I wait for my gripseal bags to arrive off ebay that I bought as I thought that they would be stronger. Also do make sure that you have let your potentail customers know what day and roughly what time you are collecting.

I also have a few customers who fill the order in when you are on the doorstep, just like I used to when I was a customer!!

You will find that your customer base increases with every campaign. I am just about to put my second order in and the sales have nearly doubled. Most of my customers didn't order the first time but you may find that when you have been one or two times they might trust you a bit more. I think a lot of people start this and do one or two campaigns and then give up.

Keep your chin up and keep going it will get better hun! If it doesn't you can always ask to change your territory or ask for more!

Hi, this is my first time at posting so here goes...

Can anyone help me with the design of business cards, flyers or a newsletter. I am in my 4th campaign and sales were pretty good but are starting to drop off now as my customer base is pretty small and I only have about two streets to do which has given me 5 customers who don't order every month. I have tried to get more territory but no reply from my SL and that was weeks ago! So, I will need to get creative, I have a loyalty card but could do with some inspiration on getting more customers. Please help!!

I got my business cards from vistaprint - they were free. Just had to buy a couple of quid for postage.

SLs do not currently have the capability to allocate territory. Contact your ASM for that. Good luck !

Umfotunately, I don't know who my ASM is so my only point of contact is my SL. I guess I will just have to be a bit more assertive and keep chasing!!
