i get my plastic grip seal bags from tesco. they fit well, and, yes,i suppose it can cheapen the look but i have had so many bags ruined when they get rained on. plus being bagged, i find it much easier to put in leaflets and such.

i've signed up as sales leader this week and taken my husband on as my first rep. he's got a territory of 197 houses and we've canvassed 87 and only got 8 orders. a disappointing start i think. hopefully better luck next time.

i just need to get around to finding recriuts now. its not easy is it?

LOL its not easy,i started collecting and delivering at 7.00 tonight, had half hour break and finally finished at 10.20 and i am ready for bed now :D

I also put my brochures in plastic bags. It may not make them look as attractive, but I do tend to get most of my books back this way. I also got a lot more orders this time round than I did on my first campaign, so for me C9 was really successful totaling about £300. At the moment I am using sandwich bags but am waiting for some bags of ebay to arrive. I find that morrisons large sandwich bags with the foldover top tend to fit the catalogues in but they are quite thin and tear easily.

I am also getting signed up as a SL on monday, so as of next week I will also be a trainee sales leader and you are right is really exciting as it gives you another opportunity to expand your business.:rotfl:

    Hi all,

I know someone's already mentioned VistaPrint but it is great. You only pay delivery and I have just ordered a load of business cards (I'm going to use these for doctors surgeries, dentists and libraries if they will let me and for putting through doors when I;m short on brochures - the message says get in touch if you want a brochure or to place an order). I also ordered post cards with Special Offer on and I will print labels appropriate to whatever I'm offering that campaign to put on them.

Cheeky I know but if anyone is going to use Vistaprint based on my above ideas would you mind PMing me your name and email and I can refer you and get some money off my future orders? :) It would be much appreciated!

I am also going to Costco soon to look at plastic bags and I will let you know if they are reasonable/suitable.

I am also thinking of doing a tiered special offer: i.e., order over £15 get a small free gift, order over £25 get a medium free gift, order over £50 and get a large free gift. What do you think? As it's my first campaign I was hoping that when I place my customer's orders I could order their free gifts at the same time from the sale in Hello Tomorrow. Does anyone know if they would all arrive together or if the Hello Tomorrow items arrive later than your customers orders?

Clarification would be much appreciated. If anyone knows!

Hope to have helped someone with my ideas today :D

    Hello,

Hope it's OK to ask a product question on this thread. I've heard that Avon sell something that's good for stopping mosquitos. Anyone know which product/products it is?

It is the 'soft and fresh' from the skin so soft range. My mum used it when we went to Turkey and never got bitten once, I on the otherhand didn't believe her so didn't use it and got bitten to shreds! Alot of my customers order it for this reason. Hope that helps, if you are on campaign 9 brochure its on page 54-57 and is on bogof. xx

inside the covers in camp 11 are 2 anew samples. upon packing my books today ready to go out again, most customers havent even noticed them! there is no notice on the book at all that samples are enclosed. i guess thats because we use the books more than once and they'd be missing the second time arouind.

so remember girls when the book cant be used anymore, to get them out and put in your sample boxes! loads for free!!!!!!
