Oooh I'm so happy!! Somebody rang me earlier to say they had an order and could I get it tonight, so I've just been to get it and it's for £75.25, what a great last minute order!! Takes my total to £471.59 :T I totally kicked last months bum!!

And I got the first member of my team today :T One down four to go!! Going to try really really hard to get at least four recruited before the end of campaign 9.

Any tips for a brand new person? What's the best way to start off/get new people and where should I look apart from the streets I have been given?

I'm also thinking of doing it at my main job as well - I work at a hosptal so there are loads of cleaners in the basement office next to mine.

    Thanks guys :)

I'm off to sign my 2nd rep now, I set myself a mission to find a rep on a certain road that my ASM said was empty and I found one within a day, I must have beginners luck at all this!!

    Two down, three to go!!

Ovetta - I would suggest selling to friends/family/work colleagues and your territory. Also try local businesses, ask if you can leave a brochure if the local hairdressers, sunbed shop, newsagent etc.

Hayleys little tip: Personally (and this is just how I do it and we've all got to do it how it works best for us :)) I wouldn't push books through peoples doors, i've only done two campaigns and i've probably lost about 30 books this way. So now I knock and ask if they would like to see a brochure, makes much better use of your books IMHO.

Ok must go so i'm not late for my new rep xx

I'm 2 campaigns into starting Avon and loving it!

Just want to say thanks to whoever it was (Sorry 41 pages of tips and can't remember where it was) who suggested the idea of attaching the fragrance samples to a little card that I printed off my computer stating what the sample was of and how much the full item is and a bit of a description about it, I.E woody, oriental

I'm going to do it with Campaign 9 with the Wish of... frangence's as they are reduced to a fiver. Spent a fiver on samples of these so that I will have enough to give to every house, not just my customers who have ordered before.

It’s a bit expensive to buy all these samples and print off the cards. But I'm hoping that maybe somebody who normally won't look at the book will see the sample, try it and love it!

Also little newsletters seam to work a treat; I sold quite a few of the items I advertised on these!

This item, I am also doing a "recommend a friend" thingy, if somebody recommends a friend, and they both place an order over £10, my customer will receive a free gift, something out of the clearance like Jewellery. Nothing that they will want to buy again, like a certain perfume. I don't want to disappoint if they want to order one after using it and it’s no longer available.

Hope I haven’t ranted toooo much, and sorry for most likely repeating ideas

Hi Mikiki, glad you're enjoying it :T I've also done two campaigns and am also loving it. Wish i'd done it years ago!
You're ideas are really good, great idea about giving something out of the clearance so they wouldn't want to order it again.

I have some good news, went for a job interview today and I got it, yay! Really didn't think I would, it's only part time but we really need some money. I haven't been in work since last summer because i've been ill so it's great to be getting back to work. Still going to concentrate on Avon though because I really want to build a really good team and eventually be able to manage just off my Sales Leader money.

You add them to your order as a credit, when you confirm your order you can printoff the slip to put in the parcell, you should have a label in your paperwork that comes every month with a barcode on it, attatch that to the box and write down the barcode on the 2nd copy of the returns form and the driver will sign it

Hmm i dont have a printer, does that matter?

So you dont get credited untill you place your next order?
