Just had the avon lady come round and explain it all, although I already knew loads thanks to this thread! I am so excited to start, shame I have no time until tonight to read it as I have to get my packages to the post office and then my mum has her driving test today and then a night out to comiserate or celebrate, hopefully the latter!

I will be back on tomorrow with all my questions.

Thanks ellibee for your average sales, that helps thanks!

My average is about £220 for about 50 houses (Most order every so often) I stopped going to evryones houses who were not interested. Just been given another 80 houses so I'm hoping that will double the number of orders :D

  • kat - i am a sl - i have new reps who just about scrape £76 and others who do £400 on their first order - on my first order i just scraped enough to get my 25% but 10 months later i was in presidents club so my sales grew dramatically in the first year - ive now been doing avon for 3 years and do about £700 a camp but at christmas that can go well over £1000 - i deliver to my road and re canvess regularly and i am known as the avon lady at school so have a good customer base there - i also do a few parties at xmas time - how much you earn depends on how much time you put into it - i put alot of time into repping as i love it - i dont put much time into being a sl and i dont earn much from it - i am a much better rep than sl lol:j :rotfl:

I'm sure my first order will be fine as I am sure I will spend the £76 all by myself!! I can't believe I have gone all my 26 years of age without buying avon - it's sacriledge! I used to be one of those trendy people who only buy 'Benefit' and 'Clinique' at £30 per item, those days are gone now, thanks to the CREDIT CRUNCH. So I guess you could call me an avon convert. I love special offers and saving money though, and always have, so I am in for a real treat when I place my first order, I can't wait for all the freebies!

lol kat - yeah my trouble too - the problem i have is when i run out of something i go through catalogue and write code on a bit of paper so by the time i put my order in i have about 20 bits of paper with different order numbers on for my order lol and then i add a few treats for me and before i know it im my best customer!! lol:rotfl:
  • Hi, Ive been reading this thread for ages now and think its really full of great info! I started out as an avon rep in Camp. 10 and am now just starting camp .15. I'm amazed as I'm doing really well! I have about 75 customers and am still canvassing for more. So far my orders have all been over £500. I am going to look into SL at the end of this month - can anyone tell me what you get in the SL business pack??
Much as i think this forum is great Im really suprised that there is no Avon UK group for reps.... is there one i dont know about???
Sorry to ask loads of qu's in my first post! I'm sure i'll be able to start answering some soon :-) Pippa
I also wanted to ask, those of you who sell avon stuff on ebay, do you make any money??! I was thinking of listing some items but it seems to me that the majority of stuff seems to sell well below the RRP. Is this the case or do any of you make any money doing this?? If so what sort of thing sells well??
