plus i just want to rant about an absolute Ahole customer ive got!!! i went to collect all my books up last night, and a few of them had forgotten which is normal, the rest were all out all nice and dry and in good condition except for one! - it was that wet im sure that they had literally soaked it in the sink and then chucked it outside in the rain!!! AND i had given them lots of nice samples that were in the book, i had to bin them, im sooooo annoyed, the last book i delivered to them got stamped all over and was covered in mud, but i took it as an accident HA not this time i will never deliver a book to them again and i hope someone wees in their shoes see how they like it! lol rant over

Ah! Rain.......dontcha just love it! ;) Soggy bags containing soggy books!!!!Has any one else got any good ideas for dealing with that situation?

I drop all the books into a carrier bag, then empty them out on to an old bath towel when I get home. I found that an absorbent tea towel or towel on the table helps (bag on one half, then fold over and blot), then mop up the last with cheap kitchen roll. All the books which will be left outside go into zipped bags which keeps them fairly dry, but I use the bags from the sale leaflets + cheapo sandwich bags for the flats where they are under cover.

Don't blame you for ranting Gemia - why do people have to be such complete ****'s? I'm fairly lucky as most of mine are lovely, but there's always the odd one. I did once have a book that the cat had peed on  Thankfully there was no order, so I dropped it in the nearest bin!!

Off now to collect around 50 soggy books :D

Lol I've binned books before too. Some of them you just can't take home!

Just thought I'd let people know that the shops were a real disappointment. Only took orders from ONE shop and they totalled less than £20. A new customer is a new customer so I'm not gutted but it would have been nice to get a couple.

Orders total £200 now though so am surprised to say this campaign really turned around for me at the last minute!

  • I thought on line reps were just people who were normal reps who just sold on E bay? and it seems to be at a loss too! which I don't get. mind you I don't get selling books on Amazon for 1p, maybe I don't have the money making gene!

My c12 is DREADFUL. one order. for one thing. from my sister. God bless her!

going to give out another lot of books tomorrow and see.

I am still considering giving it up tho. its a pain to do sometimes, and with the this credit crunch malarky.sighs.
    Nevertheless she persisted.

Aww poor you! If its any consolation C12 seems the worst for every rep Ive spoken too, though not as bad as that. Best thing you can do is miss C12 out and back order your sisters item on C13. Theres no point putting in an order for 1 item and get no commision if shes ok to wait for it.
