Me too! I have tried ordering the mother of pearl items a couple of times now with no luck. Hopefully it will be delivered this time round.:rotfl: Just looked on ebay and noticed people are now becoming online reps for Avon - how does that work?
  • Online reps sounds like us but minus all the hard work trekking around houses! hehehe

Well brace yourselves everyone, i actually took an order for some Anew stuff last night! woo. I raced home to see if i could back order and get some sort of freebie but no such luck! ooooh well.

I have found that all the ladies on the streets i do buy looooads of the childrens hair shampoos. Are these a good seller for anyone else? xx

Im feeling pepped up about avon again now. I havent taken many orders (about £50 worth) but im optimistic (deluded!) hahaha xx

Yes, I seem to do quite well with the childrens items as well. I have also managed to sell the art set and other girlie bits.
  • I think its because the bottles are quite cute and similar to the L'oreal kids ones. In camp 13 there's an offer on 3 for £5 which has done quite well. It really annoys me though that some weeks the offers for the same products are 3 for £5 but then they are 2 for £5 a few weeks later. Like on all the colour trend stuff. Still though, keeps me on my toes! xx

    hi all
(im hi-jacking my husbands acct here :P )

i've been doing avon now for about 5 campeigns now and just starting camp 13, the area i was originally given unfortatley only 7 ppl currently live in the houses as most are empty due to the american airbases pulling troops out, and will be empty til feb.
So ive had to feel my way about, i know there are 2 other girls delivering my estate but by looks of things they do a very little area of it, so im branching over other side, in the 5 campeigns ive done ive taken orders of just a shade over 1000 pounds, the poorist campeign ive had is no12 where i only took 125 quid, i usally do 2 camps at 1 time, i use the latist camp for people that have orderd from me before and older campeign to generate new people.

As im still fairly new to this was looking for any tips that might help.
Im going to put a flyer in sahop window, and i got one in my house front window, and in my hubbys car :P

The packs that you are refering to are pretty good if you going to hold a avon party, in fact very good, i orderd a 30 and 45 pound one, i phoned up avon and said i was doing this and they even chucked in cpl extras free, i did this with my last camp, and took 600 quid in orders from ppl that came round, everyone seemed to enjoy it, ill be doing another one for sure.

Ive found picking up those little 5 pound testers also really help, coz when putting campeigns out i put note on them saying testers available, when you pick books back up they usally ask to have a smell of the sample and 5/10 usally order it.
I usally pay out 15 quid in books per camp + 10 quid in extras but after ive got all orders in and paid invoice sent in im usally up by about 50-60 quid, how much ill be up after this party don't know, im awaiting invoice :D

I have decided to do an offer each month of buy over £20 and receive a free gift. There are several customers who spend this each month and a few that buy upto £17 a month - so although this sounds a lot it should be received well. Also between campaigns 14-17 I am doing for every £5 spent receive a free entry into a Christmas draw. I already have the items for this hamper so should not be too difficult and may also enhance sales. In the meantime, I have several full size items that I bought from the £30/£60 hamper items from HT, that I can use for freebies, carboot sales and in case anyone on here may require them. Please let me know, I have looked on Avon Wanted lists but wonder if I can help anyone on this website too.:j
