Hi everyone!! I'm a newbie to Avon, just signed up today and been given my brochures by my Sales Leader! I'm doing friends and family and territory. On campaign 11 at the mo. I've got 116 homes to canvass for the territory part, have just delivered the first batch which I will hopefully pick up tomorrow night (without too many losses of books)!!! I'm really excited about this (am I sad? lol) Have been out of work for what seems like ages after giving up my old job to look after my daughter who has learning difficulties. Looking forward to meeting new peeps and engaging in some adult conversation and the extra cash will be nice too!

I've put a note in with the brochures for people to tick if they don't want future brochures and as an incentive cos its my first time, I'm going to give away a sample lippy (20p) to peeps who place orders over £5 (live in quite a deprived area) so hoping this might work to start me off.

Just been to see a few neighbours a drop books in and some of them have already sais, they've been dying to order Avon stuff for ages so fingers crossed I'll get a few orders through.

My Brother and my Dad both work in schools so I'm going to give them a book each to drop off in the staff rooms.

Sales leader said today that when I place my order I will need to order the bags and some more order forms. She will give me my next lot of brochures (campaign 12) for free but I can't see in the HT magazine where I order future brochures from  I'm probably just being a bit thick and have gone past them or something.

I'm really enjoying all the hints and tips and I'll keep you all posted with how I get on!!

Speak to you all soon, Em xx :D

    Hi Em :)

Welcome to Avon! I've been a rep since campaign 7 and a sales leader since campaign 9 and I still love it. And no you're not sad, I get very excited by it all still!!

You don't order brochures from the HT, they are online once you have ordered all your products.

I think doing promotions are great, I try to do a different one each campaign, everybody likes an offer or a freebie, I know I do!!

Good luck hun, here's hoping you get lots of orders :D
 Think happy & you'll be happy

    Hi,

Will you be ordering online in future? If so when you place your order, the website bassically asks you how many pacls of books you want to order (5 books per pack) you dont need a code or anything, just enter the number of packs into the box on the website when it requests you too. Don't forget to enter a number into this box though or you will just be sent one book (this happened to me :( )

Hope this all makes sense. Sorry I don't know how it works if you dont order online.

just got my first delivery today - very exiting! one question about the ordering of books - i ordered 4 packs of camp 11 books, but got charged 50p for one copy of camp 12. do you have to order 2 camps ahead in terms of books? i thought i could just order the next camp ?

anyway, i've packaged it all up and ready to go deliver this week, and put in some samples. next camp looks like it's got some great deals in it so looking forward to a better order:)

They include a copy of the next book so you can preview it , on the subject does anybody know if you can cancell it we dont really need it

You can't cancel it, Avon like you to order a campaign in avance so you can familarise yourself with the book and also its alot better for getting your books out on time as you can start handing them out a week earlier. I always order mine in advance so I can prep them.

If you order the books in advance then you don't get charged the 50p for the single book.
