Are you sure this is a good advice to post? The car behind you would not see you slowing down and might rear end you!

You telling me you only rely on the brake lights of the car in front so see if they are slowing down? I'm surprised you haven't rear ended anyone yet!

What p***es me off is people who brake for no reason. Like when you are about to go down a bank/hill on a NSL road. All you need to do is take your foot off the gas. The car will then get down the bank and up again at the other end on it's own momentum.

Their must be some water in most diesel as the fuel filter on cars I have had have had a bleed plug on them to remove it:think::think:

Moisture in warm air from outside drawn into the tank will condense on colder surfaces.
The bleed plug is more than likely to allow the removal of this rather than water in diesel as you suggest.

You lot should be glad Tesco accepted your fuel voucher......I went into my local tesco and made the necessary product purchase which qualified for a voucher with 5p off a litre of fuel. I then went to the local tesco garage and filled up and handed over my voucher. The guy said "the voucher is only valid for tesco fuel.....this is esso fuel". I have NEVER heard anything so ridiculous in my life!!!! What's the bloody point of giving out vouchers if you cant use them?????? TESCO rip me off......yet again!

You went to an Esso garage where the store is franchised to Tesco. Likewise some BP garages have their shops franchised to Marks & Spencer. You can use your voucher at a Tesco garage.

ummmmm.....and joe public is EXPECTED to know this??????? EVERY Tesco garage sells ESSO fuel.....this is a cop out. sorry, but Im getting pretty fed up of companies deceit, and making things confusing and complicated.....it was pretty embarassing standing at the till and being told my voucher is no good. I have complained to Tesco and I am STILL waiting for a reply. They can do the decent thing and either honour the voucher or allow me to return my purchase. If what you say is true, then this information should be made clear to the public.

    Which comes from where?

I think the point is "Who is accounting for the discount",

Tesco typically writes to its grocery suppliers and says "We have decided to have a promotion, such as a BOGOF on the product you supply and guess what you our supplier are financing this promotion - If you don't like it, you know what you can do."

Perhaps Exxon is powerful enough to tell Tesco what it can do.:D
