Are there any cash back sites that give cash back on opening saving accounts / ISA's ?

There is cashback available for a stocks and shares ISA from Legal & General or Liverpool Victoria. That's more of an investment product though and not something I know anything about.

For Cash ISAs and typical instant access savings accounts there isn't any cashback that I've seen. Alliance & Leicester did at one time offer £20 for opening an esaver but now only offer cashback for a Premier Current account.

I am considering opening up a Natwest eISA, would this be a good move? I already use Natwest for my current account, so to me it seems more convenient as i assume i could manage it all through the online banking?

Also i would be transfering in ~2yrs worth of ISA savings, i assume this is easy enough?

I think the rate is approx 3.25% for under £10k? 3.51% over?

If the Natwest ISAs are the same as RBS ones then the 3.51% ISA will not accept transfers in. For that you would have to open a separate regular ISA which may have a bonus but will not be paying as much.

Natwest does accept transfers = http://www.natwest.com/personal/savings/g2/isas/e-isa.ashx:
    Transfer other ISAs

If you want to transfer another cash ISA to us, once your e-ISA is open, complete the ISA Transfer form, print it, and send it to: Central Tax Unit, 9th Floor, 1 Hardman Boulevard, Manchester, M3 3AQ and we’ll arrange for the transfer to be completed.

Am I too late to open a new ISA with the likes of RBS, M&S, etc...? Just wondering how long these things take and whether I will get in for this year.

    Many thanks

There is still time (just under two weeks to be precise), it's easy to do it online with Natwest's eISA if you already have an account with them, otherwise you could go into a branch and set one up with the necessary ID docs and cash deposit. Just make sure the application form states clearly that the deposit is being made in respect of the 2008/9 tax year.

I am seriously thinking about putting my 2009/10 ISA into the Bank of Cyprus as I have had good service from them when I opened up the fixed rate bond. http://www.bankofcyprus.co.uk/main.asp?id=18301.

Is this the same Bank of Cyprus which may be returning your bond deposit because you don't wish to provide them with certified ID? - http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1549849&highlight=bank+of+cyprus

It might be a misunderstanding and anyway I believe the letter may have been sent in error.

I will go to the branch as I should be in the Southgate area for something work related in the next few weeks.

Quick question: Has anyone who already banked with Natwest opened a Cash ISA Plus online? I've been given my account number and sort code, but how long does it take for the account to appear on online banking? Or are they sending me a letter I have to sign?

Another question re: the Natwest eISA. My Skipton ISA is maturing at midnight on the 5th April and I've just received a letter offering me a couple of options with them, the best of which is 3.15% so, I am planning on opening the Natwest eISA which will be especially good as I already have a current account with them, however, if I open the account with the Natwest now in preparation for transferring the £3600 from the Skipton surely I'd be breaking the rules by exceeding my annual allowance as I'll need to deposit £1 in the Natwest eISA?
