The Sharia rates have to have priced in a lot of this increase, I suspect the early announcements will be the other banks matching them. Could be a wait to break 3%.
Problem is that with easy access there are a lot of us rate tarts that will just move to the best rate, so I could see the big players waiting and see if they get significant withdrawals before moving.0 -

They mostly invest in ethical investments that are allowed under sharia rules, eg. not alcohol, tobacco etc0 -
So AFAICS Cov BS's only available Easy Access 'online 5' is going from 1.85% to 2.35% at 01/12?
If nobody shouts out they can see anything better in their list, maybe gets them a slot on ToTP... if none of the existing Top10 up their rates.
They'll go in the future promised rates for now.
