Anyone not rising above 2% might as well not even bother, they have been left in the dust.

Aliliva said:@soulsaver, Atom is now 1.9% on its easy saver. Not ToTP worthy, but still better than the noted 1.7%
Thanks - You've raised a good point - if I show the dropped off rate, I'll have to maintain it or it could be missleading. ...1 -
Even 2% is well below the 2.75% now available. In the past I remember savings rates being above the base rate so even today's changes are still pretty poor.1

Applied to open a Santander account on Tuesday, and advised that they would be back in touch within 3 working days, but still not heard a thing. Fed up waiting to get this opened now, so think I'll go elsewhere, probably Cynergy. Has anyone else experienced the same problem, and why does it take an eternity to get this account opened with Santander.0

Marcus straight in ... in the 'also ran' 2.00%s; now in the drop offs, as with Shawbrook
ToTP w/e update here will only show EA accounts' rates above 2.00%.
That nicley gives us the Top 10, with a bit of Editor's licence to include Yorks BS tiered top rate,(2.05%>£50k) rather than the usual 'middle' tier.
Eventful week.

Thanks @FindingBBob
For those finding the size a viewing challenge,
Dear EdFord Money TeamAs a valued customer we wanted to let you know about our upcoming rate increases:
- On Tuesday 18th October we will be increasing the rates on our Fixed Saver 1, 2 and 5 year products to 4.3%, 4.5% and 4.55% respectively.
- On Wednesday 19th October our Flexible Saver rate will then be increasing to 2.5%. This rate will initially be exclusive to existing customers, so you won’t see Flexible Saver on sale to new customers from this date.
- In addition, we will be increasing our Flexible Cash ISA to 1.90% on that day for both new and existing customers.
As always, we hope these increases will help you reach your savings goals.
Best wishes,
