    I've currently got 20k in Chase was hoping they'd up there rate but looking at what's available Al Rayan are currently the best easy access that pay monthly?

    yes - though any of the entries from soulsaver's list would beat Chase by far now.
    another option might be to split the balance and put £5k in a Yorkshire BS Rainy Day account @ 2.5%

    Looks like Cynergy are upping their Instant Access to 2.12% today. 
    That's because I took my 1.85% funds elsewhere yesterday! Have left the minimum £1 though.

    Upping Issue 53 to 2.12% or is this a new Issue?

    Personally, I think its worth opening a Barclays account specially for the 5% on £5000.  You just need a couple of small direct debits to make it work.  

    ETA - even if you were to pay Barclays their £5 a month fee (which is easily avoided), the return would still be 3.8%.

    Where are you seeing that? Website still says 1.85%
  • Just got an email through, guessing they're contacting customers ahead of time and will be on the site later?

    Virgin MPlus Saver interest rate raised 1.71% to 2.02% on first £25k.
    1.51% over 25k.
